Early in the Morning
[Nancy's apartment]
*Steven had slept over, and Nancy walks into the living room fully dressed.*
Nancy: Hey!
Steven: *drinking coffee* You're up early.
Nancy: Yes, well I have somewhere to be! Find breakfast okay?
Steven: Yeah, you had some pre-made smoothies in your fridge, I had one, hope you don't mind.
Nancy: *chuckle* Those are for my juice cleanse.
Steven: Oh, sorry! I'll buy you another one, I didn't know.
Nancy: *laughing* It's okay! You don't have to, really.
Steven: So where are you going?
Nancy: I am going to the fair.
Steven: Wait... what?! I thought we weren't meeting 'til three!
Nancy: Well, we aren't meeting until three. But is it so hard to believe I have other friends outside of us six?
Steven: Ahh! So who with?
Nancy: Um, well some of my old childhood family friends decided to "re-unite" so apparently that's what we're doing?
Steven: Oh, well that sounds fun!
Nancy: Ha! Not to me.
Steven: Why not?
Nancy: Let's just say there is a reason I haven't seen them in so long.
Steven: No no, let's say more.
Nancy: Those guys bullied and picked on me every chance they got!
Steven: Wow.
Nancy: It's just because I was the youngest, you know?
Steven: Yeah, I totally understand.
Nancy: I mean, sure, now I'm older but it doesn't mean I'm older than them! They are still going to tease me aren't they? And it's not even funny! It's just annoying. Every chance they get-
Steven: Nance! You'll be fine. You can do it. If they are all older than you, then that would be pretty immature of them to make fun of you still.
Nancy: Oh, we'll see.
Steven: You're still meeting with us later then, right?
Nancy: Steven, let me put it this way, I only have so much money. You really think I'd waste it playing carnival games with them? Trust me, all of me will be saved for you guys later.
Steven: Oh, good. Well, have fun!
Nancy: Ugh.
*Nancy shut the door and left. Just then, Nathan called.*
Steven: Hey bro what's up?
Nathan: Where are you?
Steven: I slept over at Nancy's.
Nathan: You did?! Oh good! Can I speak to her?
Steven: She's not here.
Nathan: What?
Steven: She just left. Why?
Nathan: No! Where is she?
Steven: She went to the fair early to meet up with other friends.
Nathan: Thank you!
Steven: Dude why-
*Nathan hung up, leaving Steven very confused.*
