Picking Up From Last Episode
[Jo and Tucker's house]
*Jo and Tucker were making out on his bed, with her feet in the air. She lay on top of him as his hands slid down her waist. She kissed his neck, and his fingers slipped under the waistline of her pants. They went in deeper.*
Jo: Oh Tucker...
*He kept kissing her, barely coming up for breath. He flipped her on the bed, now on top of her. She wiggled out of her pants, exited.*
Jo: Take these off... hurry...
*He undid his belt as she tore off her shirt. They start kissing again, this time with her legs wrapped around his waist. He pulled away.*
Tucker: Okay, Jo. Stop it.
Jo: What? Why?
Tucker: Come on, we can't be doing this.
Jo: I don't understand...
Tucker: We're broken up.
Jo: We were dating for years, we were in love. And we still live together. I'm sure one slip up is fine-
*She tried to kiss him again.*
Tucker: With my mom in the next room?! No!
*She snapped back into her senses.*
Jo: You're right. Sorry.
Tucker: Maybe... maybe we shouldn't live together.
Jo: What? No.
Tucker: I can't think of one couple who stayed living together after they broke up.
Jo: I can. Us.
Tucker: Jo.
*He put his hand behind her ear. He could see the sadness in her face.*
Jo: But... I need you.
Tucker: To get over me, you're gonna have to learn how to live without me.
*She shook her head.*
Jo: No.
Tucker: Yes.
Jo: No.
Tucker: Yes.
Jo: No!
Tucker: Jo.
Jo: Just give me one week. One week for me to prove to you that I can get over you, I can. Or at least that I can bear the pain of having you in the next room every night. Please. Just give me a chance.
*He looked deep into her eyes. They slowly kissed again then pulled away.*
Tucker: One week.
*She nodded, holding his hand in place behind her ear with her hand. He finally got up and walked back outside to the living room. She laid on the bed, out of breathe.*
Friday Evening
[the rehearsal dinner]
*Nancy walked out of a room into the hallway at a venue to Nathan.*
Nancy: The bridesmaids aren't here yet. They aren't here!
Nathan: This isn't good.
Nancy: We agreed for the wedding party to meet here thirty minutes before it started, at seven. It's... seven twenty eight! People are starting to arrive.
Nathan: Maybe they thought they were supposed to come at seven thirty, just like everyone else. They could just be confused.
Nancy: Oh, I really hope they are.
*Nathan could see the stress this whole situation has put on her. He wrapped his arm around her waist, and pulled her in to kiss her forehead. Steven walked up to them. Nancy put her head up and smiled, like nothing was wrong.*
