Morning
[Nina and Steven's apartment]
*It was early, 7:15, to be exact. Nina had morning sickness and was up puking in the bathroom. Steven heard her and got up. He knocked on the bathroom door.*
Steven: Nina?
Nina: No! Don't come in!
Steven: Are you alright?
Nina: I'm fine just...
Steven: Do you need anything?
Nina: Yeah, I need you to leave!
Steven: Nina.
Nina: You can't see me like this!
Steven: I can't even see you!
Nina: Just leave me be!
Steven: Why?
Nina: You're gonna be my date in... a week. I can't be seen this terrible looking!
Steven: Yeah, but I'm also your roommate! And you're pregnant, so I'm gonna be seeing a lot of this.
Nina: Just- go back to bed.
Steven: Fine.
Nina: *to herself* I miss Nancy.
That Same Time
[FreshMart Grocery]
*Jo and Tucker were asleep on the checkout line they... did it on. They were under a blanket that Tucker had gotten for them in the middle of the night. Jo heard some ruckus outside, and her eyes opened. She realized where she was, and leaned over to check her phone. 7:25. Great. She was in charge of opening this morning, and the store was supposed to be open at 6:00am. She slipped out from under the blanket, and put on her clothes from the day before. She checked the shift sheet, and saw that someone was coming in at 7:30 this morning, which means she could leave. Tucker woke up as she was running round.*
Jo: Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! No!
Tucker: *tired* Jo?
Jo: Oh, Tucker! We need to leave.
Tucker: What?
Jo: Right now. Come on! Get up!
*She threw his clothes on him.*
Tucker: What?
Jo: It's 7:30!
*His eyes lit up.*
Tucker: What?!
*He jumped off from the table, butt-naked. She stared for a second, her eyes wide and a little in shock.*
Tucker: Sorry! Ah! Okay!
*He threw on his clothes. She ran to the window and saw a huge line of customers outside.*
Jo: Oh no.
*She saw her coworker, Sam's car pull up.*
Jo: Oh, thank goodness.
Tucker: What's going on?
Jo: I was supposed to open the store an hour and a half ago!
*She left out the backway, and Tucker followed her outside.*
Jo: What we did, was a mistake.
Tucker: What?
Jo: It was wrong. So wrong.
Tucker: How... exactly?
*She stopped walking and turned around.*
Jo: Because. You and I... can't be together. I have fans, and my own problems that I can't involve you in.
