S5E10: The Bombshell

Night
[a bedroom]
*Two people push the door open, making out. It was Hallie and some guy she was going on a date with. He pulled off her top and they fell on the bed. They continued making out and having fun, when the guy squirmed in agony and scrunched his body up. Hallie sat up with her mouth dropped open.*

Hallie: Oh my go- are you okay?!

Guy: Ahhhhh! Ohhh!

Hallie: I'm so sorry! Ah!

The Next Day
[the plaza]
*Jo, Nina, Hallie, and Nancy were sitting there.*

Nancy: So Hallie, how was your date last night?

Hallie: Well, it was great.

Nina: Uh-oh.

Hallie: What 'uh-oh?'

Nina: You seem uncertain.

Hallie: No, I mean... It was great.

Jo: But?

Hallie: It was great up until we got to his place.

Nancy: This can't be good.

Hallie: We were making out, and goofing around.

Jo: Right.

Hallie: And it lasted about... twenty seconds before I kneed him in the crotch.

Nancy: Ouch.

Nina: Oh no.

*Jo chuckled.*

Hallie: Yup. It was so awkward. He spent the rest of the night with a frozen bag of peas in between his legs.

Jo: That's terrible.

Hallie: I know. You know, I haven't had sex since Harry.

Nina: Well, that's okay.

Nancy: Yeah, sometimes you just need to not rush into things.

Hallie: Oh no, you don't understand. I've had plenty of chances, just like last night. But somehow I've screwed it up. Every time.

Jo: It can't all be your fault.

Hallie: Yuh-huh! Two weeks ago, I tried a new... dirty phrase. Apparently it was extremely offensive. And another time with another guy, I realized I forgot to take my birth control that day, so we had to stop. And the time before that, I got my period.

Jo: Okay that one is not your fault.

Hallie: It all just boils down to... I'm terrible at sex.

Nina: That's not true.

Hallie: How would you know? I'm serious guys.

Nancy: Those are all simple things you can fix.

Hallie: I just... I need a guy's perspective on this. I need serious help.

Jo: Well perfect timing, there's Nathan.

Hallie: No. Absolutely not.

Jo: Come on!

Nathan: Hey guys.

Everyone: Hey.

Nathan: What's... going on?

*He sat down.*

Jo: Hallie has something to ask you about.

Nathan: Okay.

Hallie: NO! JO!

Nathan: What is it?

Jo: It's okay, Hallie! Don't be ashamed.
