Morning
[Nancy and Nathan's house]
*Nathan had been gone all throughout the night. Nancy was really worried because he had been drinking and they had gotten in a fight right before he left. She was talking to Steven alone in her living room.*
Nancy: And then... I told him it's because I felt like he wasn't talking to me enough anymore. He acted like I was accusing him of something really bad. When I wasn't. I just wanted to talk to him about what he was feeling, I don't know.
Steven: Then what happened?
Nancy: He stormed away and I stayed at the table for a couple minutes but then I went upstairs and he was throwing clothing into a bag. I kept asking him what he was doing and where he was going, but he never said one word. He seemed so... angry. His actions were so forceful and... and filled with rage or something. He walked right past me and left, then I saw him get in his car and drive off. I ran outside yelling after him but he just kept going. Never looked back.
Steven: Do you have any idea where he could've gone?
*She shook her head.*
Nancy: No.
Steven: Do you guys have like a special spot or something?
Nancy: We do but I already looked there. He's really gone.
Steven: We'll find him.
Nancy: What if he got into an accident? I mean, I'm pretty sure he was drunk. I couldn't tell.
Steven: Well if you couldn't tell, then it couldn't have been too bad, right?
Nancy: Right. I've just never seen him act like this. So mad at everything.
Steven: Me neither. Come here.
*They hugged.*
A Few Days Later
[a photoshoot]
*Jo was doing a photoshoot for Juicy Couture.*
Photographer: This way Jo! Head up a little! Move your chest out!
*Chris walked up behind all the crew and watched his beautiful girlfriend pose. He was in awe, and smiled, so happy to see her at her job. When Jo noticed him, she called a time out and ran over to him; they hugged.*
Jo: Chris!
Chris: Hey you!
Jo: What are you doing here?
Chris: Came to watch you. And ask you something.
Jo: What's up?
Chris: I was-
Jo: Hang on, let's go to my dressing room.
Chris: Okay.
*They walked over to the dressing room and Jo sat down on the couch so he sat next to her.*
Chris: Okay. I was wondering if you wanted to come to the mountains over the weekend with my family and I.
*Her smile cleared from her face. He sensed she was shocked.*
Chris: Is... is everything okay?
Jo: Family? You want me to meet your family?
Chris: Yeah! Is that okay?
Jo: I... uh...
Chris: It's not okay?
Jo: No I... that's so kind of you to offer and to want me there.
Chris: Of course I want you there. I'm confused, is there a problem?
Jo: I just haven't done the 'meet the family' thing in a really long time.
