Picking Up From Last Episode
[Nathan and Steven's house]
*Steven just saw Nathan and Nancy kiss. He just found out about their relationship. He is very upset for two reasons. One of them being that they didn't tell him sooner, and the other being that he is undeniably, incredibly in love with Nancy. All three of them stood there in silence for a while. But suddenly, Steven stormed out. Nancy and Nathan chased after him.*
Nancy: Steven wait! Steven please come back!
Nathan: Steven, come on, man!
*Steven stopped and turned around in anger.*
Steven: How could you not tell me!
Nancy: We were going to, we just didn't know how!
Steven: So you just lied to me about it?!
Nancy: No! We didn't mean to!
Nathan: We tried not to let you down but-
Steven: You tried not to let me down?!
*Steven looked directly into Nathan's eyes. They both knew how badly Steven was hurt. However Nancy didn't know, so she just stood there.*
Nancy: Steven please, just come back inside. Let's talk it through.
Steven: Why didn't we have this conversation 3 weeks ago, huh? Why couldn't we have 'talked it through' when it first all happened?!
Nathan: Because we weren't ready!
Nancy: Yeah, Steven we're so sorry!
Steven: Believe me Nancy, you don't know the half of it.
Nancy: What?
*Steven walked past Nathan and Nancy, back inside the house. They both followed.*
Nancy: What's that supposed to mean? 'I don't know the half of it.'
Steven: You know what, just forget it.
Nancy: No, I'm not leaving you until you're okay.
Steven: Better get used to disappointment.
Nancy: No. I won't be getting used to it because I'm not leaving.
Nathan: Let's just talk, alright?
Steven: Fine.
*All three of them sat down on the couch, facing one another.*
Steven: How long?
Nathan: Since the fair.
Steven: The fair?!
Nathan: Yes.
Nancy: And trust us, it's been horrible not being able to talk about it with you.
Nathan: Yeah, it really has.
Nancy: We love you so much, Steven.
Steven: I know, I love you guys too.
Nancy: Forgive us?
Steven: *smiling* Yeah, I guess.
*They all hugged.*
Nancy: Okay, so you can't tell anyone, okay? You're the only one that knows.
Steven: I'm the first?
Nancy: Yep!
Steven: Your secret is safe with me.
Nancy: Thank you. Now I have to go but, I'll see you guys tomorrow night for the movie night.
Steven: Bye.
Nathan: Bye babe.
*Nancy leaned in to kiss Nathan, and then she hugged Steven. She grabbed her purse and left. Steven lied before, he was still very hurt, He had to hide it though, because he didn't want Nancy knowing about his feelings.*
