S7E12: Fake Priorities

Afternoon
[the hospital, Maine]
*Jo ran through the doors of a hospital lobby in Maine. She wore an outfit she got fully from the airport. Her hair was a mess, as she hadn't been able to wash up since the party she was at last night (last episode). She ran to the front desk.*

Jo: I'm here to see Tucker Rakes.

Lady: I'm sorry, visiting hours are over.

Jo: Alright, well. At least tell me how he's doing.

Lady: Unfortunately that's confidential information only the family can know.

Jo: You don't understand, he has no family. I'm the only-

Lady: Really? Then why did his "family" arrive an hour ago?

Jo: What?

Steff: Jo!

*Steff, Tucker's sister, ran towards Jo for a hug.*

Jo: Steff!

Steff: This is Jo Rakes. Our cousin.

*Steff looked at Jo.*

Steff: I told him you're here and he's asking for you.

*The lady sighed.*

Lady: Go. He's in room 412.

Jo: Thanks.

*Up in room, 412, Jo quietly walked into the private room where a bed sat in the middle, with Tucker in it. He had a bandage around his right eye , with bruises around his head. He also had a cast on his wrist. Her heart dropped when she saw him in this much distress, this much pain.*

Tucker: Jo? What are you doing here?

Jo: So you weren't asking for me...

Tucker: Huh?

Jo: Your sister, uh... nevermind. Are you okay?!

Tucker: What, did you just wake up one morning and decide you suddenly cared?

Jo: Maybe. Or maybe I realized that hurting you was the last thing I ever wanted to do. And I'm sorry.

*He looked at her, with so much hurt in his eyes.*

Jo: I hurt you. And you didn't deserve any of it. I'm sorry I exposed our entire relationship on the internet, and... I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when your father died.

*She looked down at the floor, ashamed of her actions.*

Tucker: We aren't together anymore, so what does it matter-

Jo: It matters to me. Y- you matter... to me.

Tucker: Are you still with Chris?

*She lightly nodded.*

Jo: But that shouldn't change anything. Because before you were my boyfriend you were my friend. And after you were my boyfriend you were my roommate. I'll always care about you no matter what. And I just need to make sure you're okay.

*How does he respond to that? He was so mad at her, and really hurt, and she just comes in and says all that?*

Tucker: Does Chris know you're here? ...With me?

Jo: ...I was gonna tell him soon-

Tucker: Then why haven't you?

Jo: I left in a rush. I wasn't thinking about him.

Tucker: Should you have been?

*She looked down again.*

Tucker: Before you come here and try to 'save' me... I need to know where your head is at. What your priorities are.
