DECEMBER
Noon
[Nancy and Nathan's house]

*Nina, Caroline, Steven, Jamie, and Nathan were sitting on the couch. Nancy walked into the living room with a suitcase and a backpack.*

Nancy: Okay. Water bottle, check! Sunscreen, check! Extra cash, check!

Nathan: You ready?

Nancy: Pretty much!

Steven: She's been planning this for months.

Nancy: Has she?

Steven: Yeah.

Nancy: Well, I'm really excited.

Steven: Good.

*Blake came through the front door. Her and Nancy shreeked at each other and hugged. Nina rolled her eyes on the couch.*

Nancy: I'm so excited!

Blake: Me too! The party bus is right outside. And you're the last stop, so we got everyone!

Nancy: Alright, well! I'm all ready.

Blake: I'll take your stuff out.

Nancy: Great.

*Nathan got up to hug and kiss Nancy goodbye.*

Nancy: I'll see you in a few days.

Nathan: Have fun.

Nancy: I will. I love you.

Nathan: Love you, too.

Nancy: Bye guys!

Nina: Bye.

Steven: Bye, Nance.

Caroline: Bah- bah!

Nancy: Bye-bye, Caroline. Bye Jamie.

*Jamie laughed while he smashed his toy trucks together. And then, Nancy got into the party bus.*

That Same Time
[In the party bus]
*It was Blake, Nancy, and Blake's other friends. Kelly, Nicole, and Olivia. They were her bridesmaids for her wedding. And of course, this was her bachelorette party.*

Blake: Palm Springs here we come!

Nicole: Woohoo!

Olivia: Yeah!

Later
[FreshMart Grocery]
*Jo was walking in the parking lot, going to work. She held her forest green apron in one hand, and her purse in another. She spotted Tucker's car in the parking lot, but she wasn't sure if it was his or not. So, she walked over to it. It was his. At first, she was excited he was there. But then she noticed blankets, a pillow, and clothes all over the car. It looked trashed, too. She was concerned, but wasn't exactly sure what was going on. She ran into the grocery store to make sure she wasn't late for work. She saw Tucker clocking out at register 4. She was bummed he was leaving the minute she was getting there, but at least she got to see him. She started to walk over to him, but people and things kept getting in the way. She ran into some woman's cart, and then a wall of cereal boxes because her eyes were fixated on Tucker. She saw her co-worker, Ashton, talking to Tucker. Ashton had always had a crush on Tucker, but Jo never worried until now, since they are broken up. And she didn't worry before they were dating either, since they knew each other long before Jo had any feelings for him. She finally got over to him.*

Jo: Hey.

*Tucker looked a little surprised to see her. The conversation between Tucker and Ashton immediately stopped, and it was silent.*

Tucker: Hi.

Ashton: Hey.

*Ashton always sensed they were dating, but never really knew for sure. Except now she was almost certain something had happened between them, because of the tension right now. Jo looked like she was about to speak, and Tucker eagerly waited for the words to come out.*
