S1E4: Fish Bowl

At Night
[a coffee shop]
*Nancy is playing some of her songs, as a gig and the gang is all there, watching her. Everyone is there except Jo. Jo walks in and see's Nathan. She turns around and leaves. Nathan gets up and runs after her. He just stepped outside the coffee house*

Nathan: Hey, Jo! *Jo turns around* Hi, hey.

Jo: Hey.

Nathan: Uh, I haven't seen you in like a week.

Jo: Mhmm.

Nathan: Okay, yeah. Well do you want to come in and watch Nancy play?

Jo: I did.

Nathan: Right, yeah. Listen I know it's only been a week but I'm moving on and I think you should too.

Jo: Believe me, Nathan, I'm trying.

Nathan: Let's not make it awkward for everyone else.

Jo: Yeah, okay. Fine.

*They both walk in as Nancy finishes.*

Nancy: Oh hey! Did you just get here?

Nathan: Well, Jo did but I was here before.

Nancy: That's right, I thought I saw you.

*Jo goes to sit next to Nathan but Nancy slips next to him. No one noticed except Jo. She chose to sit across from him. She orders coffee and when she looked over at them, she saw them laughing, and sitting awfully close. She didn't say anything. She just sat there, quietly.*

Nina: So, Nancy, how many songs do you have already for the album?

Nancy: Well, about four or five. I'm aiming for around thirteen.

Hallie: I gotta go, I'm filming a video today.

Nancy: Goodluck!

Nina: Anyone want more coffee? *she gets up*

Nancy: Oh, sure thank you!

Steven: Yeah I'll have some.

Jo: I'll help you get them.

*The girls go to the counter to order*

Jo: Oh my gosh!

Nina: What?

Jo: Do you see them? They are practically straddling each other.

Nina: Who, Nathan and Nancy?

Jo: Uh, yeah!

Nina: Jo, they are not doing anything, they're just friends.

Jo: I-

Nina: You're just paranoid. And not over him yet, which I think is completely fine. It's literally been a week since you two broke up.

Jo: I should go.

Nina: Okay, do what you want.

*Jo leaves and Nina sits back down and passes out the coffee*

Nina: *to Nathan and Nancy* Hey, you know, you too would make a really cute couple!

Nancy: Oh, well I uh... I don't know I mean I-

Nathan: That's very-

*Her phone starts to ring*

Nancy: Oh! Sorry let me get that. Hello?... Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I'll be right there! *hangs up* You guys I am really sorry but I am supposed to be playing my manager one of my new songs right now, I'll see you all later.

Nathan: Bye! Alright, I'm going to use the bathroom.

Steven: Hey, thanks.

Nina: For what?
