S5E15: The Future Pt.2

Night
[a hotel]
*Tucker and Jo walked in their hotel room after the wedding. There was one bed covered in rose petals for them. Jo sighed. They were both sad they weren't going to be using it.*

Tucker: This is the... hotel suite for the wedding party. For couples.

*Jo didn't respond and just put her stuff on the bed.*

Tucker: Alright. I'm going to go to the lobby and ask for a cot.

Jo: Mhmm.

Later
[the hotel room]
*The hotel worker was leaving after setting up the cot.*

Tucker: Thank you.

*Jo went and put her bag on the cot.*

Tucker: No, come on Jo. I'll sleep here.

Jo: I really don't mind.

Tucker: Neither do I.

Jo: You're always giving up stuff for me. But we're not a couple anymore. So you don't need to.

Tucker: Fine. I'll take the bed.

Jo: We'll I don't WANT the cot. I was just being nice.

Tucker: I want it. Okay?

Jo: You don't want it.

*Tucker sighed.*

Tucker: So who's gonna take it? You gonna let me?

Jo: Fine. I'll have the bed.

Tucker: Okay.

*They switched beds.*

The Next Day
[Nina's apartment]
*Nancy walked and saw Nina come out of her bedroom.*

Nina: Hey.

Nancy: Hey, Steven here?

Nina: Nope. He's been gone a lot more recently.

Nancy: Oh.

Nina: So, how'd your big double date go last night?

Nancy: Good! Really good, actually. You know, it's really nice to just have another couple to hang out with. Everyone our age isn't married or anything yet because we got married young. So it's so great to finally have something like that, you know?

*Obviously, this wasn't something Nina was thrilled about.*

Nina: That's great.

Nancy: It really is. They're coming over for dinner tonight. I hope you don't mind.

*Nina did mind.*

Nina: Nope. I don't mind.

Nancy: Awesome, thanks.

Nina: Mhmm.

Later
[Nancy and Nathan's house]
*Blake, Steven, and Nathan were sitting at the table when Nancy brought out their entrees.*

Nancy: Alright. Dinner is served.

Steven: Everything looks delicious.

Nancy: Thank you. Actually, Nathan made it. I shouldn't take the credit.

*They laughed. Nancy's phone rang.*

Nancy: Oh, it's Nina. One sec.

*She picked up and walked in the other room.*

Nancy: Hey, I told you I was at that dinner thing, what's up?

Nina: I need your help with Caroline. She's sick I don't know what to do.
