Morning
[the hospital]
*Nathan walked into the room where baby Natalie stayed in. Nancy sat up on the couch and he leaned down to kiss her.*
Nathan: Hey.
Nancy: Hi.
Nathan: You know you don't have to sleep here every night with her, right?
Nancy: Of course I do.
Nathan: At least let me stay here tonight with her.
Nancy: You go home and sleep in our bed tonight. I really don't mind staying here with her. I want to.
Nathan: Maybe we both can.
Nancy: I'm already sleeping on a tiny, hard couch in the hospital. No offense but I really don't need another person on the couch. You can sleep on the floor, though.
Nathan: I'm good. Come on, let's get breakfast.
Nancy: Their breakfast isn't even cooked all the way, it's so gross.
Nathan: No I mean let's go out, have a decent meal. Let's just leave this dark and depressing place for a couple hours. Get some fresh air. Nance, she's fast asleep. It'll be totally fine.
Nancy: Okay. I think there's a "Snooze" right down the street.
Nathan: Now you're talkin.
*He put his arm around her as they walked out.*
Later
[Jo and Tuckers house]
*Jo sat, scrolling on the computer, looking at job openings.*
Jo: This... is... impossible. There are no good jobs out there. None.
Tucker: It's January, the holidays are over, it's the slowest month of the year for most businesses.
Jo: Why did Chuck have to fire me?!
Tucker: Because he's a crabby old man.
Jo: I mean I did mess up, but he showed no mercy. I am unemployed. How depressing.
Tucker: You'll find something else.
Jo: How? I have no school diploma or degree, and I don't have any experience in the real world besides what? Four years at the local grocery store? How can my resume be so depressing?
Tucker: It's not. You should totally add your years of being an influencer and social media personality. You can say you were a content creator, a video editor... you could totally get a job in technology since you have so much experience there.
*Jo was totally tuning him out.*
Jo: When do you work next?
Tucker: Saturday.
Jo: Ask Chuck to hire me again. Tell him he won't regret it this time. Convince him.
Tucker: Jo-
Jo: Or don't help at all, whatever.
*He sighed.*
Tucker: I'll see what I can do.
Jo: Perfection. Now go finish packing.
Tucker: Right.
*He ran into his bedroom.*
Tucker: My buddy George is gonna come by to help me carry boxes down.
Jo: Sounds good.
Tucker: He's got this big house. It'll be good.
Jo: How old is he?
