[Nancy's studio]
*Nancy, her managers, and all of her friends were celebrating the drop of Nancy's third album, Golden Tears. They were counting down the seconds to the release of her whole album, the release of the music video for a song on the album called Atmosphere, and her team was dropping tour dates already. In season four, you read that Nancy's manager, Kelly, told her to write her album based on her past experiences, and her friends' current ones. Love wise. On the album, there are plenty of songs about Nancy's troubles with Joey, and Jo's trouble with Tucker. And of course, Nina's trouble with Steven.*
Everyone: Ten! Nine! Eight! Seven! Six! Five! Four! Three! Two! One! Woohoo! Yay!
*Everyone hugged Nancy. She was live streaming, too. She picked up her phone and talked to her fans through it.*
The Next Day
[Nina and Steven's apartment]
*Hallie walked in and saw Nina playing with Caroline on the ouch.*
Hallie: Hey!
Nina: Hey.
Hallie: Steven's not here?
Nina: No. He's out with Blake. Per usual.
Hallie: I'm sorry.
Nina: *sarcastically* No, no, it's fine. He can go live his life and date people, but don't worry. I'll stay home and watch the baby.
Hallie: You can date people.
Nina: No, I can't.
Hallie: Sure you can. I'll watch Caroline.
Nina: It's not about finding a babysitter. Well, it is a little since she needs my milk. But it's more about... me.
Hallie: What?
Nina: For starters, nobody wants to date a girl with an infant. And even if they did, it's not like I can do anything. My body still hurts from labor and I'm not even supposed to have sex yet. In fact, I can't. I have stitches, where I can't even see.
Hallie: Yikes.
Nina: But you know, maybe if Steven could just be here a little more, I could do some other normal life things, such as shopping, or taking a shower longer than two minutes, or-
Hallie: You can do all those things. We're all here to help.
Nina: I know, and I don't want to sound ungrateful for all your help because I am, really. It's just- you guys aren't her parents. Steven and I are. We're supposed to be the ones with her the most. And we're not. Well, I am. But he's not. He's like a teenager living at home. Gone all the time, gets home way late. And he's with Blake. He's over Caroline and I, and he wants to go make a million new babies with Blake. And he wants to teach them to sing and dance. So he could make them child stars. Oh my gosh he's already got an agent for them, doesn't he?
Hallie: Nina, you're way overthinking it. He loves you guys.
Nina: He's trying to balance his life with Blake, and his life with Caroline. And the seesaw is tipping her way. By a lot. I mean, what kind of guy has a baby with a girl and just leaves? What kind of a guy does that?!
That Same Time
[dance studio]
*Nancy was at a dance studio to rehearse for her world tour of her new album, Golden Tears. She was in the room with a sports bra and leggings on. Her hair was up, too. There were about fifteen backup dancers behind her.*
Dance Instructor: Up! Up! Up! Spin left, leg out! Nancy, for this part you walk up to the mic stand, quickly put the mic on, and run slash skip to the dancers. Join in and do this number for track five, 'Sweet Rights.'
Nancy: *out of breath* Okay.
Dance Instructor: Then you run up to the mic, and finish singing. And for 'White Lining,' you'll be sitting at the piano almost the whole time, since it's a soft song until the end. But when the beat drops at the end, you'll pick up the mic and we'll have people run on stage to pull off your clothes to a sick costume.
