Night
[the hospital]
*Nancy had arrived at the hospital about an hour ago after her plane broke down. She was asleep in her bed. Out in the halls, Nathan and Steven were walking towards her room.*

Nathan: The doctor said her plane was supposed to crash, and that it's a miracle it didn't.

Steven: So it never crashed? I was going to ask... how do you even survive that?

Nathan: They managed to land somewhat safely, but Nancy had already been knocked out. Turbulence.

*Steven didn't answer, he had no words. But they were at Nancy's room, so they stepped in.*

Nathan: Steven's here.

Nancy: Steven!

Steven: Hey, Nance, how are ya?

Nancy: Good, great actually. Got in a plane crash.

*Nathan was fixing Nancy's pillows behind her.*

Nathan: You did not get in a plane crash.

Nancy: I may as well have! Look at me.

Nathan: You're still here with us. That's all that matters.

Nancy: Where's Natalie?

Steven: Nina's got her. She's on the way.

*It was quiet for a moment.*

Steven: Feels like we're always here, huh?

Nancy: Yeah. Who knew I'd be the one in here next.

Nathan: When I got that phone call I... I... I thought I lost you.

Nancy: Phone call?

Nathan: The hospital called me. I'm still your emergency contact.

*And that's when Nancy remembered. She saw his phone sitting in his hand. She had immediate flashbacks to when she called Nathan on the plane, telling him she loves him. Of course in the moment, she wanted to make the call. But now that she's safe, she knows she didn't really mean it. She doesn't love Nathan. Does she? No, she doesn't. She couldn't. Not anymore*

Steven: Nina just texted. She's here. I'll go get her and bring her up.

Nathan: I'll come to get Natalie.

*When the brothers went downstairs, they saw that Nina brought Hallie, Jo, and of course Caroline.*

Steven: Oh good, everyone's here.

*Nathan took Natalie from Nina.*

Jo: How is she? Is she okay?

Nathan: She's okay. A little banged up and traumatized, but she'll be just fine. The plane never crashed. They landed but it was rough.

Hallie: So she's okay! Good. Will you excuse me?

*Hallie fastly walked away.*

Nathan: What was that about?

Nina: Nurse handsome, 12 o'clock.

*They turned around and saw Hallie talking to Drew.*

Nathan: Ah.

Nina: I'm going to see her.

Nathan: Go ahead, yeah.

That Same Time

[fresh mart]

*Tom was standing in line at the grocery store, and he noticed Tucker came right behind him.*

Tom: Oh, hey Tucker.

Tucker: What's up, man?

Tom: Getting dinner stuff.
