Morning
[the plaza]
*Jo, Hallie, Nancy, and Nathan were sitting at the plaza together.*
Jo: So then, he gave me a call back, and got me an interview!
Everyone: Yay, congratulations!
Nancy: When is it?
Jo: It's tomorrow. So, Aaron asked me if I wanted to meet up for dinner tonight to prepare for the interview.
*Nina walked over and handed Jo coffee that she got up to get.*
Jo: Thanks.
Nancy: So- you said no, right?
Jo: No. I said yes.
Hallie: Does Tucker know?
Jo: Uhh... no.
Nathan: Uh-oh.
Nancy: Ooh.
Jo: He actually doesn't even know I quit freshmart.
Nancy: Jo. You have to tell him.
Jo: I know. I'm just afraid he'll be mad.
Hallie: Why would he be mad?
Jo: Because- I don't know. I mean, I know there's nothing to get mad over. But what if he's sad, or hurt. I mean, we met there and he loves working together.
Nancy: I get that. But you live together now. I think it's okay if you work in different places.
Nina: Yeah.
Hallie: I agree.
Jo: Okay, fine. I'll tell him.
Nancy: By the way, does anyone know where Steven is?
Everyone: Blake.
Nancy: Oh.
That Same Time
[FreshMart Grocery]
*Tucker walked up to Chuck.*
Tucker: Chuck! There you are, hey.
Chuck: What can I do for ya?
Tucker: I just... last week I noticed you didn't put me and Jo's shifts together. I wasn't gonna say anything, but it happened this week, too. I know it's weird to ask, but can you try and put more of our shifts together?
Chuck: Okay, one. I don't do the shifts. I'm not the shift manager. I'm just the manager. And two, Jo quit like a week ago. So, she's not even on the schedule at all, if you haven't noticed.
Tucker: W- what? Jo didn't quit.
Chuck: Yes she did.
Tucker: No she didn't.
Chuck: Tucker, why would I lie to you?
Tucker: You tell me.
Chuck: Quit it. And get back to work.
Tucker: I'm on break.
Chuck: For twenty minutes? Go.
*Tucker walked away back to work.*
That Evening
[Jo and Tucker's house]
*Jo walked out of the bedroom all dressed and looked nice. She was putting in earrings while Tucker came through the front door.*
Jo: Hey.
Tucker: Where are you going?
Jo: Out.
Tucker: Out where?
Jo: Just out.
Tucker: To work? Certainly not.
Jo: What?
