Picking Up From Last Episode
[Jo's house]
Tucker: Jo, will you marry me?
*It was silent. Jo was... shocked.*
Jo: No.
*He didn't respond. He just stared at her.*
Jo: You can't just do something that makes me mad, and propose to make it up to me. I told you I didn't want to see you.
Tucker: Jo-
Jo: But the fact that you were willing to actually get engaged tonight when I know for a fact you're not ready, means a lot. And... you are forgiven for the other night.
Tucker: I am?
Jo: Yes.
Tucker: That's all I wanted to hear.
*He stood up and they kissed.*
Jo: What would've happened if I said yes?
Tucker: I probably wouldn't be standing here right now.
*She laughed, then he did too.*
Tucker: You're not... ready either, are you?
Jo: Of course not. I'm twenty years old. I've still got a lot of living to do.
Tucker: *smiling* Good.
*They kissed again.*
*When they let go, Jo started thinking. He was trying to read her expression.*
Tucker: Uh-oh. I know that face. It means you have an idea.
Jo: We don't have to get engaged tonight. But we could... move in together.
Tucker: What?
Jo: We could get a whole new place all to ourselves. And wake up next to each other every morning. And we would decorate everything from scratch, and share a bed of course. Ooh, and we would drink coffee together every morning at a dining room table.
*They stared at each other for a second.*
Jo: So, what do you say?
Tucker: I say hell yes.
*They kissed again, this time he spun her around and she laughed. He carried her over to the bed and laid her down.*
Tucker: I've missed you.
Jo: I want you. Right now.
*He smiled and came over her, kissing her more. Their bodies moved together, back and forth. He kissed her neck and she looked up, breathing heavily.*
Tucker: You're so beautiful. You're all mine.
Jo: I'm all yours.
*They kept kissing as they tore each others clothes off.*
The Next Day
[the plaza]
*Nathan was walking with his five month old son, Jamie. Jamie was in a stroller. Hallie walked over to him.*
Hallie: Hey.
Nathan: Oh, hey.
Hallie: So, it's out then. Everyone knows.
*Hallie was referring to the fact that everyone knows Nathan has a son.*
Nathan: Everyone knows.
Hallie: How do you feel?
Nathan: Surprisingly good.
Hallie: Ah, I'm so glad.
Nathan: Yeah. We've bonded so much. When I first found out I had a son, I was extremely scared. And, I still am. But... it's actually so easy.
