S3E9: Exposed Pt. 2

Evening
[the plaza]
*Hallie and Leo were on a second date. The first one was... awkward and didn't go well. But, Hallie thought they had a spark when they first met, so she tried again. They went to the movies. She figured that wouldn't be so awkward because they didn't have to talk. They had just finished the movie, and were walking out.*

Hallie: So, what did you think?

Leo: It was quite good.

Hallie: Yeah, I liked it too.

*They stopped in front of a pretty fountain with lights around them. He looked her in the eyes, and she just knew he was going to kiss her this time.*

Leo: You look really pretty.

Hallie: Awh.

*He stroked her hair with his fingertips. She was so ready to kiss him. But instead, he started walking again. She followed.*

Hallie: So...

*She didn't know what to say.*

*When they got to her apartment, Hallie and Leo stood in front of the door.*

Hallie: Well, tonight was fun.

Leo: Yes.

*It was silent, and once again awkward. Hallie gave him all the signs she wanted to kiss him. But, he just stood there.*

Hallie: Oh come on!

Leo: What?

Hallie: Why haven't you kissed me?!

Leo: What?!

Hallie: Two times we've gone out and both times I've stood here, begging for you to kiss me!

Leo: You haven't said anything!

Hallie: Begging with my eyes!

Leo: Look, I'm sorry. I just didn't think you wanted me to kiss you.

Hallie: I did! I mean, I do!

Leo: I wanted to kiss you, too. I guess I was just scared.

Hallie: Oh.

Leo: So... Do you still want to?

Hallie: Yes.

*He leaned in and kissed her.*

Hallie: *smiling* Thanks.

Leo: I'm not done.

Hallie: Oh!

*He kissed her again. This time, longer.*

The Next Day
[Jo's house]
*It was a big day. Tucker's goodbye party, and Ryan's dinner. Jo was getting ready for the party while Nina was there. Hallie knocked on the door.*

Jo: It's open!

*Hallie ran upstairs to where the girls were.*

Hallie: Hey! Guess what?!

Nina: What?

Jo: Hm?

Hallie: So, I had a date with Leo last night-

Nina: Omg! Did you get the kiss!

Hallie: *excited* Mhmm!

All: Ahh!!!

Jo: Yay!

Nina: Oh that's so awesome!

Hallie: I know! I could tell he wasn't going to do it, so I totally confronted him which turned out he was just scared, so he just ripped the band aid off and we made out!
