[Jo's house]
*Jo, Nancy, Hallie, and Nina were all sitting on the couch with blankets, finishing a movie as the credits came up on the tv.*
Jo: So, what'd you guys think?
Nina: It was-
Nancy: Interesting.
Hallie: The lighting was good!
Nina: So were the... costumes!
Nancy: The acting was...
*Nancy just couldn't compliment anything.*
Jo: You guys hated it.
Nina: No!
Nancy: *lying* I loved it.
Jo: It's okay. I don't really like it either. It just really reminds me of him. This was his favorite movie.
Nina: I know, I'm so sorry.
Nancy: Me too. It'll get better.
Jo: When? When will it get better?!
Nancy: Well I don't know-
Jo: Exactly. It's not going to get better.
*They didn't know what to say, so they didn't say anything. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Jo got up and looked out of the peephole. She turned around to face the living room.*
Jo: You guys!
Everyone: What?
Jo: It's Tucker!
Nancy: What's he doing here?!
Jo: I don't know! I didn't ask him to come or anything!
Nina: Well- what are you gonna do?
Jo: The question is what are YOU gonna do.
Nina: Why-
Jo: He can't see me like this! I'm a mess!
Hallie: Why do you care what he thinks?
Nancy: Yeah, you don't like him or anything, right?!
Jo: Of course not! Ew! But I still have some pride!
Nina: Alright, so what do you want us to do?!
Jo: You're going to answer the door for me, I'll run upstairs, and just tell him I'm not here!
Nina: *sarcastic* Right, because we always just come over and hang out at your place when you're not home.
Jo: Oh just do it!
Nina: Fine!
*Jo, Hallie and Nancy ran upstairs together, while Nina opened the door.*
Nina: Hey, Tucker!
Tucker: It's Nina, right?
Nina: Sure is!
Tucker: Uh, hi. Is Jo home?
Nina: She's not.
Tucker: She's not?
Nina: Nope.
Tucker: Are you sure? Because her car is in the driveway-
Nina: What do you want?
Tucker: I just wanted to talk to her.
Nina: About...
Tucker: It's private.
Nina: About who?
Tucker: Jo.
Nina: Believe me, I know everything about Jo. It isn't private.
Tucker: Okay fine, me.
