Morning
[Jo and Tuckers house]
*Jo was sitting on her bed, scrolling through her laptop when Tucker knocked.*

Jo: Come in.

Tucker: Guess what?

Jo: Hm?

Tucker: My mom got me a ticket to go see her on Christmas.

Jo: Really?

Tucker: Yeah. I leave tomorrow night. Apparently not a lot of people travel on christmas eve.

Jo: That's cool.

Tucker: So, should you just give me my present now, or?

*He was making a joke, but Jo laughed and threw her present at him. He caught it at a hard angle with his impressive skills.*

Tucker: Thanks.

*He ripped it open and pulled out a few new t-shirts from his favorite brand.*

Tucker: Thanks. These are my favorites.

Jo: I know. My turn.

*He handed her a gift. She unwrapped a book.*

Jo: What is it?

*She opened it and saw pages filled with song lyrics and blank lines next to them.*

Tucker: It's a book filled with all of your favorite songs. And I left a space next to them to analyze the lyrics because I know you love to do that.

*She looked up at him.*

Jo: You made this?

Tucker: Well... yeah.

*Jo got up to hug him.*

Jo: Thank you.

Tucker: Don't forget the card.

Jo: Ah, yes. It wouldn't be a gift from you without your handwritten cards.

*She took it from him, but before opening it, she handed one to him.*

Jo: Mine first.

Tucker: You got me a card?

Jo: Open it.

*He tore open the envelope and pulled out a piece of paper that said, "I hope you like the ticket!"*

Tucker: You got me the ticket?

Jo: Surprise!

Tucker: Jo! That's amazing! Totally puts my gift in last place.

Jo: What?! No! I love the book, Tucker. Thank you.

Tucker: Yeah, yeah.

Jo: Now you go pack!

Tucker: Okay!

*He ran out of her room, all excited.*

The Next Day, Christmas Eve
[Nancy and Nathan's house]
*Hallie, Steven, Nina, and Jo sat on the couch as Nancy and Nathan stood up in front of them.*

Nancy: Okay. We have an announcement.

Nina: Why do I feel like you guys always have some big announcement?

Steven: And they're always on this couch, too.

*Nancy chuckled.*

Nancy: Listen! Nathan and I are married now. Well, we have been for a couple of years. But with tour and everything, this is one of our first Christmas's as a family. And with me being pregnant and all, our family is about to grow.

Jo: Yeah?

Nathan: We've decided to spend Christmas... just with our family. Kristina and Jamie are coming over tonight and staying for Christmas morning. We hope you understand.
