MARCH
Morning
[Nancy and Nathan's house]
*Nancy had Natalie in a baby carrier wrap around her stomach. Nathan and Nancy were still separated, but he wasn't home so she felt okay about going inside the main house; not the pool house. When she walked in, the doorbell rang and when she opened it, it was Kristina.*

Nancy: Hey. Nathan's not here.

Kristina: Oh. Where is he?

Nancy: Him and Steven are talking to their publicist about... something that happened.

Kristina: At their birthday party? The "murderer" thing on the screen?

Nancy: Yeah.

Kristina: Well, I didn't come here for him.

Nancy: Oh. Then why did you-

Kristina: To see you. After the party on Saturday, Nathan came to me.

Nancy: Of course he did. You seem to be his default fallback these days.

Kristina: I didn't mean to-

Nancy: I know you didn't. It's his issue not yours.

Kristina: Okay.

Nancy: So what did you want to talk to me about then?

Kristina: I guess... I never apologized to you. About everything.

Nancy: What do you mean?

Kristina: I know you didn't like me very much when I was dating Nathan many years ago, rightfully so. When we broke up and I heard you guys got back together, I was happy for the both of you. And then I found out I was pregnant with Jamie, and I was scared. I was so scared. You two were finally together again, and I didn't want to come in between but... I couldn't stop it either. So I had Jamie alone. You guys got married and I thought that maybe... I could tell him. I'm so sorry for the way I intruded on your life. You were building this perfect family and... you were pregnant... I was devastated I didn't have that for Jamie. And I'm sorry I didn't tell him or you sooner. You both had the right to know as soon as I did, and I feel like I've come between you guys in a lot of ways.

*Nancy took a deep breath after hearing all of that.*

Nancy: You have no idea what you put us through. You told him about Jamie... not even two months after I miscarried our twins. I... I had to lose the only two children I've ever had... while my own husband was gaining a new one. With another woman. I... I watched him become a father before I became a mother. We were supposed to go through that together. And you told him at a house party. It was incredibly immature, impulsive, and at the wrong time and place. But as far as you coming between us, I'd love to see you try. Because you won't. Nathan loves me more than he ever loved you. So don't you dare come in here and act like one day we can be okay. Because we can't. When he's around, we will act civilized and polite. But on the inside, you are nothing to me.

*They both stood there for a few seconds, taking in all in.*

Kristina: You're right. I don't know why I tried. I'm sorry.

*She walked out not a moment later.*

That Same Time

[the streets of LA]

*Nina was on her way over to Jo's house, when she saw someone familiar. It was Steff, Tucker's sister.*

Nina: Steff, right?

Steff: Nina! Hey! Long time no see!

Nina: Yeah!

*They hugged.*

Steff: How have you been?

Nina: Good, great actually!

Steff: That's good.
