3rd person

The doctors rushed around trying to help Elijah. They knew it was only a matter of time and if it was down to thrm they would have switched the machines off weeks ago. Even if he somehow survived he would most likely be brain dead, not to mention the possibility of being confined to a wheelchair. It was in his best interest that he didnt live in pain, all this was a few weeks ago. The possibility of him waking up was non existent.
He was a important person so they treated him like one, they allowed his family  to keep him alive as long as possible. Unfortunately he seized a few hours ago and it was now a matter of time.

They felt immense sorrow for the girl, she had been in hospital a week ago and her injuries were hard to look at however they got to know her and  they wanted to save Elijah for her. She needed him but sadly it just wasnt possible.

It was always hard loosing patients, even more when their was children involved.  How could they tell her? Maybe if they all prayed extra hard he would wake up, it would be nothing short of a miracle.

The lead doctor was frantically trying to save Elijah. He wasnt giving up until the very end. He couldnt bare to go out and tell his family.

"Clear" a doctor called as they began started to resuscitate him. Nothing was working but the doctor wasnt giving up. "Bag him I'll do it manually" and he got to work. It was hard to see.

Elijah West. The most powerful man in the states maybe the world. He had a look that could make even the strongest of men cower and fall to his knees.  He had seen things most wouldnt dare to think. He was tough, he was cold hearted and if anyone messed with his family well they better start running, Elijah would hunt them to the ends of the earth if he had to.
He had been stabbed, shot, knocked unconscious but never had he been so weak, he was laid in a hospital bed, broken with doctors trying to resuscitate him.

Avery West. She wasnt even aware her last name had been legally changed to West not that she cared. She stood with Lydia crying her eyes out, Lydia was just the same, tears soaked their faces. Avery hadnt known Elijah or his family for too long but she already felt like they were her family.  She finally felt wanted, cared for and loved.

(Just realized this would be perfect place to end the book, Avery feels wanted, last chapter Matthew told lydia they were going to talk to a judge about custody. Littaraly be the saddest yet a good ending)

The doctor soon began to realize Elijah waant coming back. He wasnt going to make it. They had done everything possible but nothing worked.

"Time of death...." he looked to his watch but before he could say the time, Avery ran in, she had managed to get out of Lydia's hold when she saw they had stopped trying to resuscitate him. "No" she shouted, tears fell as she collapsed onto Elijah. The doctors were almost in tears as they watched the scene before them. It was utterly heartbreaking "you cant do this Elijah, please you promised, just wake up"
