Mortal Kombat: Fire and Ice

Part 2: Chapter 1

PAGE ONE

Panel 1: We see a teenage boy, about 15 years old, standing about 5 foot 7. He is dressed in black and yellow, a black sleeveless undershirt, a yellow  V shaped sleeveless shirt,  a black and yellow belt and black pants and shoes with yellow shin guards. He wears black  fingerless gloves with black and yellow gauntlets. He's standing in an open training area alone.  He has straight short black hair, with green eyes and light skin. His eyes appear to be scanning for something,  or someone.  He stands in a large, open field

Panel 2: A burst of flame appears in front of the boy. A leg attempts to land a right roundhouse kick to the boy's body, but he is able to jump back. The flame disappears, and we see Scorpion. He is wearing his MK11 default outfit, the same one seen in the very first MK11 reveal trailer where he was fighting Raiden.  He takes out his katana and wreathes it in flames, before slashing at the boy. The boy dodges each one. Suddenly, a staff swings at the boy's head, which he backflips away from. We see Jade in her MK11 outfit, the same one she wore in the story mode except it's green and not that ugly brown color. Her hood is down, and she wears a green mask with gold edges.

Panel 3:  Jade and Scorpion both rush at the boy, who blocks and dodges their attacks, although he is struggling.  He jumps up, but is followed by Scorpion, who grabs him, spins him around in the air and slams him into the ground. He kicks Scorpion off and rolls away before standing up 

Panel 4: Jade kicks him with her Blazing Nitro Kick. She throws her razorang which the boy ducks under. Scorpion launches his spear, which he sidesteps and kicks Scorpion in the body with a right kick. He surrounds himself in green energy and lands his own Blazing Nitro Kick, before landing a left hook right uppercut and right knee on Jade.  She staggers, but is able to come back with a right knee of her own to the boys body. Scorpion locks the boy in the Muay Thai clinch. Both of them struggle for control, which Scorpion gains due to his height advantage. He lands several knees to the boy's body before pushing him back with a left teep.  He goes for a flaming roundhouse to the head, but the boy blocks and counters with one of his own

Panel 5: Scorpion staggers and forms a fireball. The boy takes a deep breath and forms one of his own. However, he is struggling to maintain it. Eventually it disappears.   He sighs.  Jade pulls down her mask and smiles before hugging him. Scorpion does the same. 

Jade: That was wonderful Akira

Akira: Thanks mom. You and dad aren't easy opponents

Scorpion: You improve more with each session my son. You always find new ways to make me a proud father

Akira: Thanks dad. I'm just upset that I can't control the fire for very long...

Scorpion: Don't be. You're still a kid. It's only natural that you'll struggle. You're learning and growing more. 

Caption: Akira Hasashi. Scorpion and Jade's son. He inherited his mother's green energy, however due to Hellfire being exclusive to Scorpion, he is learning how to use regular fire instead.  His facial structure and skin tone resembles Scorpion,  while he has his mother's green eyes and her nose

Jade: It's never good to down yourself Akira.  Instead, acknowledge what you did good on and focus on what needs improvement. 

Scorpion: Keep training, you'll only get stronger. I love you, my son

Jade: I love you as well Akira

Akira: Yeah, you're right. Thanks mom and dad. I love you guys too

Jade: Now, let's go eat. I'm sure you're both hungry

Scorpion and Akira: We are

Panel 6: The three of them share a laugh and walk off together.
