Panel 1: Akira and Mariette in a large open field. Akira wears a black short sleeved shirt with blue jeans and black and white sneakers. Mariette wears a pink blouse, blue jeans and white sneakers. She affixes a black and yellow gauntlet onto each of Akira's forearms
Akira: So how do these things work?
Mariette: Okay! Listen very closely!
Akira: I already am! Now hurry up!
Mariette: So when you were using your fire in your fight against your dad obviously you went all out and your body overheated
Akira: Yeah, I've been trying to limit how much I use during my training
Mariette: Well now you won't have to worry about that! These gauntlets have a cooling stimulant in them. Every time it detects you're overheating, the cooling stimulant activates and lowers your body temperature. That way, you can use your fire at full power and not worry about overheating. Go on, try it out!
Akira: Alright, this better be good Mariette!
Mariette Just hurry up and try it!
Panel 2: A flame aura erupts from around Akira. He continues to raise his fire, causing Mariette to sweat. He grits his teeth as sweat pours down his face. Suddenly, steam blows out from the holes in the gauntlets, and Akira looks at them in shock. His flame aura still surrounds him at full power
Akira: Hey these do work! My body doesn't feel like it's overheating anymore!
Mariette: See? I told ya it would work!
Akira: Oh man these are awesome! Hell yeah!
Panel 3: Akira shoots fireballs, flame beams and continues to increase the intensity of his flames, all while not overheating at all. He grins, his green eyes flashing with excitement. Mariette smiles proudly
Mariette: Sooooo it's safe to say you're a fan?
Akira: A fan?! Mariette I fucking love these! You're the best!
Panel 4: Mariette blushes. Akira grins at her and removes the gauntlets.
Akira: Hey, are ya able to stay for lunch?
Mariette: Yeah, I am
Akira: Hell yeah! It should be ready soon, think my mom is almost finished.
Mariette: What's she making?
Akira: Burgers with an Edenian recipe she uses. They're really fucking good. C'mon, let's get going I'm starving
Panel 5: Akira and Mariette appear in the kitchen, where Jade is seen cooking as Scorpion sets up the table.
Jade: Hello you two.
Akira: Hey mom and dad
Mariette: Hello! Oh it smells amazing!
Jade: Thank you! Should be done soon
Mariette: Would you like some help?
Jade: Sure, I'd love that
Panel 6: As Mariette goes to help Jade, Akira goes to help his dad
Scorpion: So how do the gauntlets work?
Akira: They work great! I was beginning to overheat and they released a cooling stimulant to help cool me down and lower my temperature. Now I can use my fire at its full capacity!
