PAGE ONE

Caption: Earthrealm. An alternative timeline

Panel 1: The two figures step out, revealing themselves as none other than Quan Chi and Shang Tsung. Quan Chi is in his MK9 outfit while Shang Tsung is in his MK11 younger form outfit. They both grin arrogantly. The man unsheathes his sword

Shang Tsung: You've ran away long enough

Quan Chi: It's about time we get rid of you

The man: Damn it! Guess I don't have much of a choice!

Quan Chi: You're as much of a fool as your father boy

The man: Don't you dare speak of my father!

Panel 2: The man leaps forward with a slash, which the two sorcerers easily sidestep. They both kick him back. The man stumbles but is able to dodge fiery skulls blasted at him. He slashes again but gets caught with an uppercut from Shang Tsung before Quan Chi appears from a portal above him and stomps him into the ground. He grabs his head and slams it three times, breaking his skull on the third slam. Shang Tsung blasts him into the air with some ground skulls and Quan Chi blasts him through a wall with a green flaming skull. The man slowly gers up. The sorcerers both laugh

Shang Tsung: I must say your resolve is almost admirable

Quan Chi: It's a shame you turned against me. If you had listened you wouldn't have been in this situation.

The man: I regret letting you burrow your way into my head! I can't take back what I did while serving under you but I'll get rid of both of you!

Quan Chi: Feel free to try

Shang Tsung: It will not end well for you at all

Panel 3: The man shoots fireballs at the two sorcerers, who easily dodge. The man teleports behind them and tries to slash them both with his sword. They both easily dodge again. Shang Tsung lands a blow to his body while Quan Chi lands one to his face. They then blast him back with the flaming skulls they shoot out. The man drops to the floor and slowly gets up. The sorcerers prepare to finish him off- when a flashbang lands at their feet and goes off, blinding them. The man runs off

Panel 4: He follows a teenage boy with short black hair dressed in a sleeveless yellow martial arts gi, a short sleeved black undershirt, black and yellow wristbands, a black belt, black pants and black shoes with yellow shin guards. They both run into an underground base. They soon enter a room, complete with a kitchen, bedrooms, a bathroom, and a table with a spell book on it. The man and the boy both sit on a couch and open the book

The man: Thanks Masahi

Masashi ( the boy): No problem. Any luck?

The boy: Not at all. They're really all gone... I couldn't find anybody.

Masashi: Damn... don't worry about it though. We'll make sure we bring those two to justice.

The man: Sub-Zero... Raiden... Fujin... Liu Kang.... Kung Lao.... dad... they'd all want us to bring them down. Let's make sure we honor that wish

Masashi: Agreed. I found a timeline where they're all alive. Quan Chi and Shang Tsung are dead in that timeline. We'll definitely be followed there but considering those two are dead in that time, it's our only choice...

The man: Yeah definitely. Do you think it's ready yet?

Masahi: It is. We just have to conjure the spell now. They'll sense us so it has to be quick

The man: Yeah definitely. Well, here we go...

Panel 5: They both begin to chant. Green, purple and orange energy begins to swirl around them. Suddenly a massive portal forms. Hiroshi grabs the book
