PAGE ONE
Panel 1: Liu Kang and Johnny Cage engaging in battle. Liu Kang dodges two force balls from Johnny, but is caught by Johnny's famous Green Shadow Kick. Liu Kang gets up and lands a Flying Kick, followed up by a knee and backflip kick. As Johnny gets back up, Liu Kang does his signature Bicycle Kick,accompanied by his usual annoying turkey noises. He shatters the ribs of Cage with the last kick, knocking him to the floor. Liu Kang throws a fireball, which Johnny ducks under and lands his signature Nut Punch on the Shaolin, before doing a backflip kick while shrouded in green energy.
Johnny: You got Caged big time Liu!
Panel 2: Liu Kang gets back up and begins to engage with Johnny. Liu Kang gets blasted with a Force Ball. He shrugs it off and shrouds his fists in flames, before viciously striking Johnny Cage with several heavy shots. He ends the assault with two Flying Kicks to Johnny, accompanied by more annoying turkey noises. Johnny shakily gets up and flashes a defiant grin.He's bruised and a little bloodied
Liu Kang: You should quit Cage
Johnny: See, I got like a family I care about, and friends, and you know my realm soooo like, I'm afraid I can't do that for ya pal.
Liu Kang: You are pitiful
Johnny: That's what they all say .
Panel 3: Johnny surrounds himself in green energy and charges toward Liu Kang. His green energy briefly turns red, and Johnny slides forward with a Red Shadow kick. Liu easily dodges. Johnny forms two yellow shadows, and they begin to attack a bewildered Liu Kang
Johnny: Always good to have some stunt doubles, Mr. Shaolin.
Panel 4: Johnny and the stunt doubles attack Liu Kang, but the former champion easily dispatches the two shadows before hitting Johnny with fire that is in the shape of a dragon. Liu Kang claps his fists together and they once again become engulfed in flames. He rushes forward and hits Johnny with several punches at chest level, before charging fire into his hand, placing his fingertips on Johnny's chest, then landing a one-inch punch. Johnny gets sent crashing through a piece of rubble. He is bleeding, burned, and battered, but despite this he still gets up, shakily. He grins and flips Liu Kang off
Johnny: Is that... really... all you've got? Come on, Mr. Champion. You're supposed to be this almighty fighter, this grand Mortal Kombat winner, yet you're having trouble putting me down. No wonder... Raiden replaced you.
Panel 5: Liu Kang shouts and begins to do another Flying Kick, wrapping his entire leg in flames, but a metal arm comes and knocks him out of the air with a punch. Liu Kang gets up to see Jax, Sonya, Stryker, and Kabal approaching him.
Liu Kang: A sneak attack? How weak!
Sonya: As of right now, you're a threat to Earthrealm Liu Kang, and we have to take you down by any means necessary.
Jax: And if all of us gotta put a hurting on you at the same time, so be it
Liu Kang: Fine. All of you, attack me at once!
Panel 6: The four of them rush Liu Kang all at the same time. The Shaolin sends Sonya back with a Flying Kick, then lands several punches to the chest of Jax. He kicks Stryker back, then does his Bicycle Kick to Kabal, accompanied by even more annoying turkey noises. Jax does his ground pound, but Liu Kang jumps over it and lands another flying kick. Sonya shoots blasts from her Energy Rings, but they get countered with fireballs from Liu Kang. Stryker shoots at Liu Kang, but he easily dodges the bullets. Kabal runs forward and slashes with his hook swords, but gets dropped by yet another flying kick. He goes to kill Jax, wreathing his right fist in flame, but he stops to dodge a flaming arrow.
