PAGE ONE

Panel 1: Kori and Ari take their stances,  carefully eyeing the mind controlled Reiko as he stares them down.  They move around a bit, neither of them wanting to attack too early and leave themselves open to counters.  Kori moves first,  charging blue magic into her fist and aiming a clean right straight punch. Reiko is able to use his left hand to deflect the punch and he goes for a counter right straight of his own, but Kori is able to slip it and goes for a counter left hook, which Reiko narrowly avoids in time by stepping out of range to the right side of his opponent. He goes for a left high kick, which Kori is able to block by covering her head with her right arm and palm and using her left hand to take the impact instead. She goes for a counter kick but Reiko avoids it by pulling his head back.

Panel 2: A left hook is blocked by Kori and she attempts to counter with another right hand. Reiko is able to block this. The two separate and Reiko shoots in for a fast takedown. Kori defends it by sprawling and she attempts to go for his back in an attempt to lock in a submission.  However,  Reiko is able to shake her off since he's much stronger. As she falls, he aims an ax kick down at her but she's able to roll away and get back up.

Kori: Damn it!  You have to at least remember something Reiko! Your mind can't be completely possessed.

Reiko: My mind was cleansed Kori! It isn't my fault my foolish "family" cannot see that Onaga's rule is inevitable. You're all too blind to accept the truth!

Kori: And what about your wife and children? ( Mentally) I hope that breaks through to him a bit...

Panel 3: Reiko appears to briefly pause, before shaking his head.

Reiko: They also can't see the truth! But they'll soon learn!

Panel 4: Reiko moves again, tossing some shuriken. Kori teleports and appears in front of Reiko,  connecting with a jumping switch knee to the face. She lands a left hook after and a right knee to the body.

Caption: Kori is the shorter fighter,  so she has to close the distance and attack Reiko there.

Panel 5: Kori continues to find success- until a perfectly timed teep to the body from Reiko stops her in her tracks. Using this opportunity,  Reiko begins using his reach advantage. He lands long straight punches and round kicks. Every time his opponent attempts to close the distance,  he lands a teep or knee that discourages them.  Shao Kahn and Alice are ready to jump in, but Kori holds up a hand, telling them not yet.  She then times an opportunity,  ducking under a right hand and landing a blast double leg takedown. She attempts to go for an arm triangle choke,  but Reiko is again too strong and pushes her off. As they get up, Koro calls in her sister for support.

Reiko: Your numbers won't give you an advantage! I'll easily defeat you both!

Ari: Aren't you the one who admitted that even you had trouble keeping up with our coordinated team attacks?

Reiko: I was merely too weak then! Now I am able to see through all of your feeble attempts!

Panel 6: Reiko and the sisters both move to engage.  They clash at the same time and immediately begin attacking. All three fighters are equally matched for a bit, until Kori and Ari begin implementing their plan. One attacks the body while the other attacks the head at the same time. Reiko blocks a right head hook and a left hook to the body, however the left side of his head is left open as is the right side of his body. Ari lands a right body kick and Kori lands a left head kick. Reiko is stumbled. Ari continues to attack the body and even lands a few leg kicks. Kori lands hand combinations to the head. Shao Kahn, Alice, and the other warriors watch.

Liu Kang: He trained his daughters well.

Damian: He definitely did. Kori is one of the best fighters I've met, and I'm not just saying that either.  She's raised by two of the best warriors in Ada, and she also has the fortune of being related to another powerful being in Karisma.  When your dad is Shao Kahn and your mother is Queen Alice, it's no wonder that you'll have access to great power. Those two really helped hone the skills of Kori and Ari. But Reiko is no pushover either.  I hope one of us is able to break through to him.
