Panel 1: Raiden flies towards the grandmasters at high speed, a trail of red lightning behind him

Panel 2: The ninjas narrowly dodge out of the way. Scorpion draws his sword, Sub-Zero creates an ax. Raiden forms lightning swords

Panel 3: They all charge toward each other

Panel 4: Scorpion's sword clashes with Raiden's left sword as Sub-Zero's ax clashes with Raiden's right sword

Panel 5: The grandmasters begin to push Raiden back, demonstrating their high level weapons fighting

Panel 1: Sub-Zero throws his ice ax at Raiden. The Thunder God easily dodges but is met with a flaming right roundhouse kick from Scorpion, as Sub-Zero strikes Raiden with a left kick to the body.

Panel 2: Raiden gets up, unfazed and smiling

Raiden: Most impressive! Now unleash your full power!

Panel 3: Fire surrounds Scorpion, as Sub-Zero's skin turns an icy blue

Raiden: (thinking to himself) Hanzo is conflicted about his Scorpion identity..

Panel 4: The warriors charge toward Raiden, unleashing a flurry of attacks, Scorpion using his signature method of finding an opening and pressuring with strikes, while Sub-Zero uses techniques such as stance switching, faking and feints to confuse Raiden

Caption: Raiden is unable to predict the attack patterns of Scorpion and Sub-Zero, due to their radically different methods and styles of fighting, he struggles to keep up with the flow

Panel 5: Raiden is smiling before he sends them back with a shockwave

Raiden: We will rest for a bit. Hanzo, I would like to speak with you in private

Panel 6: Scorpion and Raiden head to the other side

Raiden: Why are you still conflicted Master Hasashi?

Scorpion: What the hell are you talking about Raiden?

Raiden: You wield the powers of Scorpion, yet you attempt to distance yourself from being called that and try to act as if you two are different and not the same being

Scorpion: Do not anger me Raiden!

Raiden: You must learn to accept yourself. You can use that power for good. Redeem the name of Scorpion, as a hero who protects Earthrealm

Panel 1: Scorpion walks away angrily

Raiden: In order to truly unlock your power, you must first learn to drop any reservations you have and give in. Denial will not get you anywhere.

Panel 2: Scorpion teleports away

Caption: Later that day...

Panel 3: Scorpion sits on the floor, arm crossed and eyes closed

Panel 4: We see the Shirai Ryu Fire Garden. Scorpion is walking through them. Suddenly, another Scorpion appears (For this, human Scorpion will be referred to as Hanzo, and his Revenant form will wear his MKX default costume)

Hanzo: You again...

Scorpion: How long are you going to keep this up?

Hanzo: Silence! All you did was cause me to be irrational

Scorpion: You continue to blame me for your own decisions! You act as if I forced you to do those things! You try so hard to separate yourself and treat me as if I am not the same as you!
