Mortal Kombat: Fire and Ice

Part 2: Chapter 75

PAGE ONE

Panel 1: The ice and fire beams clash.

SFX: GYURRRRRRRRRRRR

Panel 2: Bao can be seen giving it his all. His mask is cracked,  one eye is closed and bleeding.  His broken left arm is also bleeding but he still pushes. He continues to pour more energy into his ice beam. His skin is a pale blue and his eyes are a full on whitish blue with no pupils, indicating he's using his full power.

Panel 3: Onaga is also putting more energy into his fire beam.

Caption: Despite his weakened state and being unable to use less than half of his power as a result of the damage he has taken, Onaga is still a threat.

Panel 4: The gigantic beams continue to struggle to overtake the other- until the fire begins to slowly overwhelm the ice beam. Bao notices and tries to put more power in- but he's unable to. He drops down to one knee while still struggling.

Panel 5: We see the fire continue to overwhelm the ice beam, inching ever closer to Bao and continuing to engulf his ice beam.

Bao: Damn it! Mom...dad... Uncle Bi-Han... Uncle Tomas...Toriel...all my friends... I'm sorry. I tried my best to hold him off for as long as I could...

????: What are you apologizing for?

Panel 6: Bao perks up at the sound of a voice. He turns to see who it is and his uninjured eye widens.

Bao: D-dad!

Panel 7: We see Sub-Zero,  also injured and bleeding,  holding his ribs. 

PAGE TWO

????: Not even a Dragon King can topple the Lin Kuei!

Panel 1: We see Bi-Han,  also injured and bleeding and holding his injured left arm as well.

Bao: Uncle Bi-Han too!

Panel 2: Sub-Zero and Bi-Han both assume their Full Power Cryomancer state. Their skin also becomes pale blue and their eyes become a full on whitish blue with no pupils. They both outstretch arms and press the ends of their palms together before drawing them back and charging up a gigantic ball of ice. They both thrust their arms forward and unleashes a massive beam from their palms, combining with Baos blast. The resulting assistance makes the ice beam even wider and it actually overwhelms the flame beam. The three of them give one final push.

Panel 3: A gigantic ice beam hurtles toward Onaga. He tries to move out of the way, but is too injured to do so, thus he's forced to watch as the beam comes closer.  It eventually engulfs in completely,  and the area where he once stood is covered in ice.

Panel 4: Bao collapses to the ground. Sub-Zero and a now awake Kitana help him up. They both check on him. He gives a weak grin and a thumbs up with his good arm.  Kitana hugs him.

Kitana: I'm just glad you're okay Bao.

Sub-Zero: You've earned your rest. Let  us handle it from here.

Bao: Yeah...sounds good to me.

Panel 5: Raiden appears,  chants something, and holds out his hands,  unleashing mini thunder beams that heal all of the fighters.

SFX: RRRRRRUUUUMMMBBLEEEE

Shao Kahn: So he's back for more I see. Still doesn't know when to stay down. Hah! No matter. Let him contribute to his inevitable defeat!

Alice: Indeed. Although we both knew it wouldn't be easy to keep him down.

Shao Kahn: That is also true.  Yet I can sense we are closer to stopping him for good.
