PAGE ONE
Caption: Outworld
Panel 1: Raiden, looking angry. He unleashes several blasts of red thunder, killing several of Kotal Kahn's soldiers. Kotal runs out
Kotal: Raiden! What is the meaning of this?
Raiden: You cannot be trusted Kotal! You attempted to kill some of our warriors to please Shinnok, and yet you expect me to believe that Outworld can be reformed when they have been our enemy for so long?
Kotal: That was a poor choice I made Raiden. I have changed and I am trying to uphold my current status as a man of honor. I have proven myself so far Raiden. So why do you attack?
Raiden: There is no trust Kotal! You cannot be left alive to possibly harm Earthrealm!
Kotal: That is not my intention Raiden. I truly hold no ill will towards your realm!
Raiden: Silence!
Panel 2: Raiden sends several blasts of thunder towards Kotal. He narrowly dodges
Kotal: Cease this madness Raiden!
Panel 3: Raiden continues to send blasts of thunder at Kotal. Kotal draws his massive sword
Kotal: So be it. Attack!
Panel 4: Kotal, Erron, Reptile, Ermac and Kotal's forces all charge towards Raiden. Raiden sends Erron back with a kick, then blasts Reptile into a wall. He knees Ermac in the body. Kotal tries to slash him with his sword, but Raiden casually backhands him away, sending him crashing into Erron Black. He sends more blasts of thunder, shocking Erron and Kotal.
Panel 5: Reptile spits acid at Raiden which he easily dodges. He lands a right knee to Reptile's body, and kicks him into a wall. He does his Electric Fly to Ermac (SFX: Gibberish (AYBAYBAYAY or something).
Panel 6: Kotal turns into a jaguar and jumps towards Raiden. Raiden swats him out of midair with a cross, his hand wrapped in thunder. He punches Kotal through three walls. Ermac teleports behind Raiden and attempts to lift him in the air, but Raiden teleports behind him and lands a right kick to his left leg, followed up by a left kick to his body, and a right kick to his head.
Panel 7: Raiden approaches a downed Kotal, thunder surrounding him. He prepares to strike, when suddenly he stops. He blinks and shakes his head, looking around, a confused expression on his face
Raiden: I... did this. This is not good... I'm losing control... I must contain this evil within me!
Panel 8: Raiden teleports away

Caption: The Lin Kuei temple
Panel 1: Sub-Zero and Kitana engaged in a training session. Kitana throws a roundhouse kick to Sub-Zero's head, which he blocks with his left arm. He throws a right roundhouse kick of his own, which Kitana evades by pulling her head back. Sub-Zero catches her with a right kick to the leg. He throws another kick, but Kitana sidesteps and lands a kick to his face. She pulls down her mask and kisses his cheek, striking the same pose as her Kiss of Death fatality, except Sub-Zero doesn't explode. He turns to look at her. Despite wearing a mask, there's a warm, loving glow in his blue eyes. Kitana smiles and wraps her arms around his neck, leaning her head on his shoulder. Sub-Zero's arms are wrapped around her waist. They look at each other and share a laugh.
Kitana: (jokingly) I told you not to go soft on me
Sub-Zero: I don't want to harm that pretty face
