PAGE ONE
Panel 1: A large, open field. Fujin, Jade, Kitana, Smoke, Kung Jin, Jax, Sonya, Johnny, Cassie, Jacqui, Takeda, Kenshi, Kabal, Stryker, and Nightwolf are there.
Fujin: Welcome everybody, thank you all for coming. As you are all aware, Raiden had a vision of the Netherrealm attacking us again. Unfortunately, Raiden cannot be there for too long, for it drains his power, or else he would have attacked them instead.
Kabal: So like, what's the plan for the last three? Are we gonna kill them, or does Raiden want us to subdue and not kill so they can be revived
Fujin: The second option Kabal. Raiden wants to ensure that our forces remain as strong as possible for any future threats
Jax: I know that Liu Kang and Kung Lao aren't around anymore, but will the White Lotus help us still?
Fujin: Indeed they will Jax.
Nightwolf: My tribe will also help in the battle.
Jacqui: Hey, what about the Shirai Ryu and the Lin Kuei? Will their clans help?
Fujin: Yes. The Grandmasters were hesitant about it at first, as they did not want to lose any members, but they realized that the Netherrealm demons will most likely outnumber us if it's just the Special Forces, White Lotus, and Nightwolf's tribe alone.
Smoke: My clan is always happy to help in defending our home
Cassie: And what about Kotal Kahn in Outworld? Do you think he'll have his Osh-Tekk help us?
Fujin: I do not know. Scorpion and Sub-Zero are going to ask him soon. It's possible that Sub-Zero gained the respect of Kotal after he and the Lin Kuei bested him and the Osh-Tekk in battle during the final stages of Shinnok's attack. I can only hope that he agrees.
Johnny: It still sucks having to fight our friends, but hey, we got most of them back, we can do this. Besides, you got me on your side, Johnny Cage himself!
Cassie: Really Dad?
Sonya: I swear, some things never change.
Johnny: Damn right!
Fujin: Alright everyone. Now, let us begin. First, you will begin by all attacking me at once
Stryker: Holy shit all at once?
Fujin: Yes. Divide yourselves into teams of two
Panel 2: The fighters form into teams. Jade and Kitana, Kenshi and Takeda, Jax and Jacqui, Kabal and Stryker, Johnny and Sonya, Smoke and Nightwolf, and Cassie and Kung Jin.
Kabal: Hey Kurtis, remember when we used to drill in the police academy
Stryker: Good memories Kabal
Johnny: Alright Cassie, remember everything we drilled
Cassie: No need to tell me twice Dad
Jade: This is just like old times Kitana
Kitana: Indeed it is. I missed this
Jade: As did I
Fujin: You may begin
Panel 3: Kabal and Stryker are first to strike. Stryker shoots at Fujin with his gun. Fujin scatters them with a blast of wind. Kabal charges toward Fujin at blinding speed. Fujin stops him in his tracks by blasting him back with several air bullets fired from his fists. Kenshi slashes at Fujin with his sword. Fujin merely sidesteps and sends Kenshi back with a right kick to the face. He pushes Takeda back with a gust of wind. Kitana slashes at him with her fans, and attempts to land a spin kick. As Fujin evades it, Jade begins to swing her staff at his head. He pushes all of the warriors back with a massive gust of wind.
