Panel 1: Jade is first to strike, moving with blinding speed as she lands a Blazing Nitro Kick on Asai, sending her flying. She follows through by jumping in the air and throwing an overhead staff slam that Asai narrowly dodges. Meanwhile, Kitana slashes at Amino, who counters the slashes with her katana. Kitana gracefully backflips away from a slash and teleports behind Amino in a blue whirlwind. She slashes at Amino, who turns into a coal puddle to avoid the attack. She reappears above Kitana and goes for a downward stab. Kitana gracefully backflips away from her, catching her with a backflip kick as well. Amino is able to recover and catch Kitana with a coal blast. Kitana tosses her fan, which Amino dodges. Meanwhile, Jade goes for a takedown on Asai but gets caught with a knee to the face. Jade steps back by Kitana's side. The red eyes of the twins gleam with excitement, and they charge at each other.

Panel 2: A dark skinned woman walks forward. She's curvy and beautiful, with green hair, green eyes, and green demon horns. She wears a red armor breastplate that covers her upper body and shoulders, as well as red gauntlets. Her thighs, lower legs and feet are also covered in armor. Shang Tsung appears to admire her, and she appears to do the same with him. They share a smile. With her are Goro, Tanya, and Rain
Shang Tsung: Kayla, glad to see you back. And you certainly did not come empty handed.
Kayla: Of course not. I made sure to find only the finest warriors for our team
Shang Tsung: Good. Once again you have shown me that my trust in you is warranted
Quan Chi: I must say, she did quite well finding us skilled warriors
Shang Tsung: As a highly skilled warrior herself, it is no surprise at all
Panel 3: Mileena steps forward, eyes fixated on none other than Tanya, in her MK Deception outfit with her MKX hairstyle. Tanya steps forward and pulls down Mileena's mask. Mileena has her lips from MKX. The two women share a deep kiss and embrace each other. Mileena takes Tanya's face in her hands
Mileena: Dearest Tanya... by the gods... it really is you! This isn't a dream! I'm actually seeing you again!
Tanya: The feeling is mutual my love! After losing you... I never expected I'd ever be able to share moments like this with you again. I was sad for so long, and now... seeing you again, it feels so unreal. I missed you Mileena
Mileena: As did I my love. We shall celebrate this joyous moment after business is taken care of
Tanya: Indeed. Let us focus on the matter at hand
Panel 4: Kintaro steps up to Goro, who is still armless after his duel with Kotal Kahn. He looks at him in confusion
Kintaro: Goro, what happened to your arms?
Goro: I lost them in a duel with the one known as Kotal Kahn. I have lost my honor.
Kintaro: Kotal Kahn? I recognize that name. In my timeline, you two went to war and killed each other.
Goro: That happened here too. The Outworld Civil War. However, Kotal is currently the ruler of Outworld in this timeline. That is not all, he ordered the execution of Mileena as well.
Tanya: He must pay for that!
Mileena: We will see to that my dear
Goro: I heard he was quite cruel to the Tarkatans too. After they supported Mileena, he tried to have them all exterminated. I believe a few survived.
Baraka: And to think he's said to be a man of honor! Pathetic! I will gnaw his bones!
Goro: Enough about that. I was told that if I agreed to this, I'd be getting new arms
