Caption: Centuries ago, tribes of humans worshipped the powerful wolf god, Adalwolf, which means "noble wolf". He's a God of strength, virtue, leadership, wisdom and kindness. His followers sought to be just as strong and virtuous as him, and thus he decided to bless his most loyal followers with the power to access the abilities of a wolf, thus creating the first werewolves.
Panel 1: We see a group of humans bowing to a massive gray wolf.
Caption: At first, it was difficult for humans to wield such great power. Their mortal minds and bodies struggled to cope with it. As such when they transformed, they were incomplete both physically and mentally. Their minds regressed to a savage primal state and often times they had to lock themselves in during their full moon transformations. However some embraced it and chose to give in. Despite this, those who were determined to control it promised Adalwolf he wouldn't regret giving them power. And so Adalwolf decided to trust his followers. His trust wasn't in vain. Over time, the followers became more adjusted to their abilities. They learned how to access their werewolf forms without losing their sanity and without needing the full moon, and as a result they became even better.
Panel 2: We see some of the early werewolves, who look different from modern ones. They look more like the werewolf design seen in the 2010 "The Wolfman" film, more human but with hair, fangs, claws, and wolf like feet. They stand around 7 feet tall and are covered in fur, varying in color from black, brown, gray, golden blonde and red. They also have varying eye colors, blue, red, golden yellow, green and orange.
Caption: As the werewolves gained more control over the power, their appearance began to change as well, they became far more wolf like in their features.
Panel 3: We see werewolves that look like Fang and Alaric, standing at least 8 feet tall. Muscular powerful looking beasts with tails, with fur varying in color from brown, black, gray, red and golden yellow. Their eyes are also varying in color, green, blue, red, golden yellow, and orange eyes.
Caption: When werewolves learned to blend their human intelligence with powerful animal strength, that's when they truly began to thrive as a species. Clans and families were made. Werewolf populations increased all over Ada. Of course, there were those who viewed them as nothing more than violent savages, and there are some who discriminate against werewolves, however these people only hurled insults, as few dared to attack a werewolf. It was basically suicide.
Caption: Werewolves have no fancy magic, no gimmicks. They're the physical embodiment of strength, and they are able to win on strength and strength alone. Both physical and mental strength, they embody both, and they gain more strength as they fight.
Caption: There were hunters who tried their hand at taking out these beasts, however their success rate is very low, as one werewolf alone is more than a match for a group of hunters. Their fur is basically armor, and their strength, speed, and other abilities grow stronger after each battle and transformation. The best way to kill a werewolf, is wife another werewolf. While most of them lived in peace, there were those who had rivalries. Some were centuries old blood feuds, while others formed as a result of disagreeing with society's views on their kind. There were those who felt they should embrace the violent savage image and kill anyone and everyone, even innocent people, and establish themselves as a dominant species, or in some cases, there are those who are violent sociopaths and just used their werewolf abilities to ruthlessly execute others, even their own kind. Then you have those who are narcissists such as Remus, thinking they're above everyone even other werewolves.
Caption: Most werewolves choose to not behave like a violent savage, and this has benefitted them far more. Naturally, each clan needs a leader they can follow. Each clan has one leader, or two if a werewolf marries. Some choose to stick to their own kind while others have no issues with marrying someone from an entirely different species. When leadership is passed down, it isn't as simple as a father passing the role down to his son for example. The leader must prove themselves worthy and show qualities that would ensure they're capable of leading their clan.
