Panel 1: The twins and the corrupt twins charge at each other, massive amounts of coal emanating from the clash. Asai knees her clone in the body and kicks her back. Amino lands a hard uppercut on her clone before sending her back with a flying kick. The clone twins blast their human counterparts with coal barrages before rushing forward and landing strikes. Asai teleports and lands three dive kicks on her clone, while Amino lands a flying kick followed up by a backflip kick. She lands on her feet gracefully. Liu Kang smirks as he watches her. Asai lands a cross, left hook, right uppercut and right knee on her clone. She then sends her clone back with a front kick
Asai: See?! Told ya they ain't shit! They landed like what, a few hits on us that didn't do shit! Kayla your clones fucking suck!
Kayla: Always the loudmouth Asai
Panel 2: Clone Asai appears behind the real Asai. Asai goes to strike but the clone teleports next to her and lands a hard kick to her body. The clone then follows up with a coal blast that knocks Asai back. Clone Amino lands a jumping roundhouse to Amino and follows up with a barrage of coal punches before landing an uppercut that knocks her down. Amino gets up and is caught with a knee to the body followed up by a cartwheel kick. Clone Asai kicks Asai in the body and bombards her with a coal blast barrage. The clones leap back and land massive coal crosses on their human counterparts. The twins stumble. The clones prepare another attack but the twins swiftly disappear. Amino slashes her clone with her katana from behind while Asai rushes forward and lands several slashes from her daggers on her clone. Both twins then land a coal blast barrage of their own on the corrupted clones.
Kayla: Hm. It appears I didn't account for the fact that they had extra training and likely gained new abilities that I didn't factor into them. No matter.
Shang Tsung: Indeed. Normally I'd punish such failures...but due to my knowledge of your abilities, I have the utmost faith in you my dear
Kayla: Thank you my love. For now, let's continue watching
Panel 3: The corrupted twins shake their heads and are immediately met with attacks from their counterparts. The twins and the corrupt twins begin to fight, both sets of twins matching each other's moves, seamlessly blocking and countering one another. They clash weapons, the sounds of metal on metal reverberating throughout the area. The slashes are equally matched. Asai growls and lands a coal covered uppercut on her clone before landing a hard coal covered dive kick and sending the clone to the floor. Amino lands a coal covered flying kick on her corrupt clone. The twins continue to assault the clones. They surround themselves in coal and land vicious attacks. Asai lands Kung Laos chain punches while Amino lands the bicycle kick. Amino knocks her clone out of the arena with a spinning back kick then a flying kick. Asai knocks her clone out of the arena with a jumping roundhouse kick. She lands on one knee in a superhero pose before getting up. The monks, Tsusa, Akira, Scorpion, and Jade all look at the twins with pride. Even Mana smiles, as opposed to her usual deadpan expression she has. The twins bow to them then turn to face Kayla
Amino: Kayla, it's about time you face us and answer for these clones!
Asai: REPENT MOTHERFUCKER!
Kayla: Impressive. I must say you two far exceeded my expectations, and your training under Scorpion , Jade and the monks has taken you both to unimaginable heights. Very well, I'll entertain your request for battle.
Panel 4: Quan Chi looks at Kayla and smirks. Shang Tsung takes her hand and kisses it
Quan Chi: Crush them
Shang Tsung: Show them how pathetic they really are. Make your daughters proud
Kayla: I shall
Quan Chi: You said emerald demons are aggressive and fast correct?
