Part 2: Chapter 39

PAGE ONE

Panel 1: Tanya shows off her incredible acrobatics by doing impressive flips, going for a cartwheel kick. Jade shows off her own impressive acrobatic skills by gracefully backflipping away. She then connects with a Blazing Nitro Kick that knocks Tanya back. Jade follows up by teleporting behind Tanya and knocking her away with her staff. Tanya gets up and Jade uses the green energy to propel herself forward and land a hard knee to Tanya's body. She follows up with a cross left hook cross and a right body kick. Next she takes her staff and extends it, spinning it around as she moves forward, striking Tanya seven times. Jade then spins with a cloud of green smoke and teleports behind Tanya, landing a sweep with her staff

Panel 2: Not to be outdone, Tanya catches a body kick from Jade and counters with a cross. She then lands a side kick to Jades body followed up by a right body kick and then a spinning heel kick. She ends the attack with a backflip kick that knocks Jade away. She then somersaults forward and lands a flaming kick on Jade. She blasts Jade with a fireball before lunging forward in a corkscrew like manner, blasting Jade with a flaming dropkick to her body. She then backflips away as Jade gets up.

Tanya: You should be used to dealing with fire attacks I'm sure.

Jade: I am. Your fire is pathetic compared to Hanzos.

Tanya: You'll see that my fire is leagues above his Jade

Panel 3: The women engage again. Jade lands a hard right uppercut followed up by a left hook cross and a right body knee. She pulls her left leg back and blasts Tanya with a massive kick to her liver. Jade then runs forward and use her staff to vault herself and land a flip kick on Tanya that knocks her down. Tanya gets up and Jade catches her with a handstand kick. She uses her staff as to uppercut Tanya into the air and follows up with a cartwheel kick before landing two Blazing Nitro Kicks, the second kick breaking Tanyas ribs. Jade then grabs Tanya and uppercuts her in the face, making her fall forward. She extends her staff and hits Tanya in stomach with it before circling around her and swinging it, knocking Tanya to the floor. Jade goes to whack Tanya again but Tanya blasts Jade with a fireball and gets up. She kicks Jade in the body and hits her with a flaming uppercut followed up by a flaming kick. Tanya goes for a handstand kick but Jade teleports away. She reappears behind Tanya and uses her green shadow energy to propel herself forward and land a hard knee to Tanya's body. She then lands a right slash elbow before grabbing Tanya and pushing her down. She extends her staff and hits Tanya in the face with it, breaking her face. Tanya is able to recover and duck under a jumping roundhouse kick from Jade and counter with an uppercut that breaks the jaw of the Edenian. She then knocks Jade away with a left head kick.

Panel 4: Tanya blasts a fireball at Jade but Jade activates her purple glowing forcefield, allowing the fireball to harmlessly pass through her. Jade extends her staff and hits Tanya in the stomach with it. She shakes the staff a bit and then slams it over her, which also slams Tanya into the ground. Tanya gets back up and summons her naginata. Jade twirls her staff around and points it at Tanya. The two women charge forward, weapons clanging against each other. Tanya swings her naginata, slicing Jade across the chest and arm. She goes for a stab but Jade takes her razorang and slices Tanya across the stomach, chest and arm with it. She lands a right body kick to Tanya followed up by a spinning back kick. She then swings her staff, knocking Tanya halfway across the arena and almost knocking her out of it. Tanya stabs her naginata into the ground and uses it as a vault to stand on. She then flips and grabs the handle, swinging over and going to strike at Jade, who blocks it with her staff.

Tanya: Hmph. Quite the skilled one you are Jade

Jade: Of course. There's a reason I was a top assassin in Edenia. And training with Hanzo has only sharpened and refined my skill to its finest point. I've always wondered Tanya. What made you betray Edenia?
