Part 2: Chapter 65

PAGE ONE

Panel 1: The group walks into the next room. The arena here is surrounded by a ring of fire. Two bursts of flame appear in the middle and we see the daughters of Hageshi and Ayuna, Subayai and Hayai. Subayai is darker skinned like her mother, and her mothers hair color with a black streak as well as blue eyes. Hayai is lighter skinned with her father's hair. One eye is the same color as her mother's while the other eye is the same color as her father's. They both scan the group, seeing who decides to step up.

Amino: Sister.

Asai: I'm way ahead of ya. We'll take em on, no problem.

Scorpion: You two know what to do. Remember everything Jade and I have taught you and you'll win.

Panel 2: Amino and Asai teleport into the middle of the arena, standing across from the Homura twins.

Asai: So like, were you two born with the ability to use fire or did you have to learn it?

Subayai: We were born with it of course. Our mother taught us how to utilize it with our weapons.

Hayai: And our father taught us how to use it in our unarmed combat.

Amino: I see. Master Hasashi, or Scorpion as most people know him, as well as Miss Jade, have been influential in our growth as well.

Asai: Is your dad also brutal with his training?

Hayai: He is, but it helps us.

Subayai: He's never too intense of course. He knows just the right amount of power to use when sparring with us.

Amino: Makes sense.

Panel 3: Amino removes her glasses and tosses them to Liu Kang, who catches them with ease.

Hayai: Hey you two are coal demons right?

Asai: Yeah we are.

Hayai: Which means you can use coal magic I'm sure.

Asai: Sure can do.

Subayai: Hell yeah! I'm getting excited already! Your kinds known for bein' strong, so I've got a perfect opponent to test myself against!

Asai: Don't take it to personal when I kick your ass though!

Subayai: Well what are we waitin for?! Let's get to it!

Caption: While Subayai is usually calm and reserved for the most part, her true fiery personality comes forth during battle against another strong opponent. She becomes excited at the prospect of testing herself against someone who can match her. Both Asai and Subayai use a controlled aggression approach, finding the right opportunity to attack and then blasting their opponent with powerful and precise strikes.

Panel 4: Asai and Subayai clash and then leap back, before engaging again. Their strikes are fast and precise, both of them seemingly throwing the same moves and countering it. They each throw a kick and their kicks clash with each other. They then clash knees and share an intense glare before leaping back and clashing elbows with each other.

Panel 5: Meanwhile, Amino and Hayai are more tactical in their approach. They circle each other, neither one moving to attack just yet.

Caption: Both of them are the tacticians of the sister duo. They waste no movements, seeking thr right moment to strike, leaving very little openings and making it difficult for an opponent to counter what they do.

Panel 6: Hayai goes to step in for an attack but gets countered with a right uppercut elbow from Amino, which she follows with a switch knee to the body. Hayai recovers and throws a right kick. Amino checks it. Hayai does the kick motion again. Amino raises her shin to check but Hayai used her right leg to feint. She lands a switch kick to the body and lands in close range, ending with a elbow, left hook right knee. Amino steps back and lands a jab into a switch kick. She steps back as Hayai advances. Knowing she's walked into her trap, Amino lands a cross, left hook, right body kick, making Hayai pay for advancing forward.
