Panel 1: Scorpion and Sub-Zero are engaging Raiden and Fujin in battle.
Caption: Two hours have passed so far
Raiden: That will be all for the tag team session. Now, we have two hours left. The first hour will be you two against Fujin, and the final hour will be you two against me. Begin!
Panel 2: Scorpion and Sub-Zero begin to engage Fujin. Fujin shoots air bullets from his fists. The two of them dodge. Fujin proceeds to jump up and literally begins running on thin air and blasts them back with a gust of wind. Fujin flies forward toward Scorpion and spins around, striking him with several kicks. Fujin strikes Sub-Zero with a gust of wind and launches him into the air, following up by creating a wind funnel and slamming Sub-Zero to the ground. He looks at them both as they get up
Fujin: Come on you two. I know you're both capable of more
Panel 3: Scorpion and Sub-Zero take their stance again. Instead of attacking on their own, they begin to attack together. Fujin smiles excitedly. Sub-Zero strikes the Wind God with a cross and right body kick, while Scorpion lands a heavy right body hook and right kick to the leg. Their different ways of fighting are enough to confuse even a god. Sub-Zero parries a jab from Fujin and fires back with a cross, left hook, right uppercut, and right knee. Scorpion hits a flaming cross, before landing a left elbow and right knee, launching the Wind God into the air. He follows through with a teleport, and a flaming backflip kick. Sub-Zero creates a wall of ice and grabs Fujin from the air, tossing him through the wall. Fujin gets up with a smile
Fujin: Fantastic! Keep this up!

Caption: One hour later
Fujin: Wonderful work you two. Some observations about your teamwork: Both of you are very different when you fight. Sub-Zero, you are skilled at countering your opponent, as well as confusing them through methods such as stance switching. Scorpion, you are fantastic at finding an opening and pressuring your opponent with deadly combinations. Your methods of attack can be a problem alone. But when working together, the fact that you two fight so differently can easily confuse an opponent, since they will not be able to predict your moves and you can thus throw them off. That's why you two work together so well. In your differences, you fight as one and become a deadly opponent
Panel 1: They bow to each other. Raiden steps in and smiles
Raiden: Let us begin, shall we?
Caption: One hour later.
Raiden: Another successful session today. I recently had a vision before we began. Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and the Netherrealm forces were attacking Earthrealm. I fear that this may happen soon, which led me to a conclusion: Fujin will train the other warriors, and I will continue to train the two of you.
Sub-Zero: How do you know if we will have enough time to continue training?
Scorpion: They can attack right now for all we know
Raiden: Something tells me they are still planning. I can only hope we are able to train sufficiently before hand. For now, rest Grandmasters. You just keep getting stronger after each session
Panel 2: They all bow to each other. Scorpion and Sub-Zero teleport away. Fujin leaves to find the others, and Raiden teleports to his Sky Temple.
Panel 3: We see a small coffee shop. Jade and Kitana step into frame. The two friends immediately share a hug, and sit at a table. Jade orders two large cups of coffee for them
