Part 2: Chapter 41

PAGE ONE

Panel 1: Satoshi rushes at the two sorcerers. They ready themselves. He teleports behind them in a burst of flame and lands a split kick on both of them. He knocks Quan Chi away with a flaming uppercut and knocks Shang Tsung down with a flaming spinning back kick. Satoshi continues the assault, landing a knee to Shang Tsungs body before grabbing him and tossing him into Quan Chi. He blasts the sorcerers with fireballs and hits Shang Tsung with a jumping knee before hitting Quan Chi with a cross left hook cross and a right head kick. He then lands a flaming backflip kick, knocking Quan Chi into the air and teleporting above him, knocking him down into Shang Tsung. He lands on the ground. Akira can be seen jumping up and down excitedly. Scorpion, Takeda and Masashi smile.

Takeda: Damn he's doing amazing

Akira: Hell yeah! Kick that ugly bald freak in the head again!!!

Scorpion: He's made many improvements during our training sessions. His determination has contributed as well. However he also knows that this isn't a fight he can win easily. He knows not to underestimate them and get too arrogant.

Sub-Zero: Indeed. That would cost him greatly. He's trying to finish the fight as soon as possible to ensure they aren't able to establish a counterattack.

Raiden: A wise decision indeed. The sorcerers are calculating and powerful. They'd make sure to punish him for any mistake he makes.

Kayla: And they will. Your son may temporarily have an advantage now, but they'll overcome him eventually. I look forward to that.

Jade: False bravado does not suit you Kayla

Kayla: Make no mistake Jade, this bravado is not false at all.

Mana: Hmph.

Kayla: Have something to say Mana?

Panel 2: Mana doesn't reply. She merely gives Kayla her signature deadpan expression before turning back to watch the battle. Kayla scoffs and also turns her attention back to the battle.

Panel 3: We go back to the battle. Satoshi continues his assault, rapidly blitzing the two sorcerers with vicious attacks. He moves at a blinding speed, not letting up at all, before leaping back and blasting them with a massive Hellfire beam. He stands and waits, hoping to see if he defeated them. The smoke clears, and it slowly gives way to two shapes. The shapes are revealed as the sorcerers. They both give him a mocking grin, although they're both a little damaged

Satoshi: Damn it! Even after all of that, they survived!

Scorpion: Those tough bastards!

Quan Chi: Hmph. A valiant effort indeed

Shang Tsung: You put so much power into those attacks and actually managed to damage us. I commend your efforts, you have actually gotten quite stronger. Yet it still wasn't enough to stop us

Quan Chi: Do you not get it? You can't hope to ever match our power. All of the training you did, all of the effort you put into those attacks and yet we are still standing.

Satoshi: I'll take you two down no matter what! I have to!

Panel 4: Satoshi rushes at the two sorcerers again. He goes for a flaming kick at Shang Tsung who dodges easily and lands a kick of his own to Satoshi. Quan Chi attacks next, landing a flying knee and blasting Satoshi with three flaming skulls. He kicks Satoshi through a portal on the ground and opens one above him. He reaches up and grabs him by the leg before slamming him hard into the ground. Shang Tsung summons ground skulls under Satoshi and blasts him into the air. Quan Chi appears in a portal above Satoshi and stomps on him, bringing him down to the ground and breaking his ribs. He then steps on his face and breaks his skull. Quan Chi grabs Satoshi by the collar and lifts him up into the air, grinning mockingly. Kayla smirks
