Panel 1: The twins look up at the massive Dragon King towering over them. He grins.
Onaga: You two are assassins for your clan. Tell me, does it pay well?
Kuroi: It does. We're already millionaires.
Onaga: I see. However, I'm sure the work isn't easy at all. You're tracking down very dangerous people, and sometimes your stealth doesn't work. So you find yourself in a tough fight. Sure, you both get paid well. But you also run the risk of facing severe injury or death due to your current profession. So is it truly worth it?
Yuki: What exactly are you getting at?
Onaga: What if you two could have even more wealth without the risk of danger your current position poses? I suggest you two consider that option.
Panel 2: Yuki turns to Kuroi.
Yuki: I don't know Kuroi. This... dragon man seems a little suspicious to me. I'm not sure we can trust him. How do we even know he can offer us more?
Onaga: Allow me to show you.
Panel 3: Onaga opens a portal, showing a room full of gold and diamonds. The twins look at it in awe.
Onaga: I own a room dedicated to these riches. I understand that in your world, these can be exchanged for an amazing profit. More than you make now. And you'd never have to put yourself in danger anymore if you wish to obtain it. No more high risk high reward situations for you two.
Kuroi: This can work Yuki! Think about it! All the money we can get! We can retire from this and not only will we be set, our entire family would be! We're talking generational wealth here!
Yuki: But there's no way he'd let us get it so easily! There has to be a catch! What's your stipulation Onaga?
Onaga: It's a simple one. Help me obtain victory against the King and Queen of the Underkingdom, and I'll ensure you have generational wealth.
Yuki: The king? You seriously plan to go to war with Shao Kahn and Queen Alice? Like I'm gonna stand a chance against any of them.
Onaga: Don't worry. I have an army like him. He'll likely have his own warriors. You just take them out, I focus on Shao Kahn.
Kuroi: This is a good idea Yuki. We don't even have to worry about facing Shao Kahn.
Yuki: And what if the other warriors are stronger than us?
Kuroi: They won't be. None can match us, especially when we work together!
Yuki: Damn it... I still don't know about this.
Kuroi: Trust me Yuki, this will only benefit us. I'd never steer you wrong, you know this.
Yuki: Fine then.
Kuroi: Good. We accept your proposition Onaga.
Onaga: Very well then. You may claim this assignment for yourself as well. I have no need to take credit for it. I'll return to the both of you once it's time to gather my forces together.
Panel 4: Onaga conjures a portal and walks through it. The twins are left to ponder.
Caption: Present day.
Kuroi: We'll be rich when we succeed Yuki! Then we won't ever have to put ourselves in danger to make money! So get up! We can do this!
Panel 5: Spurred by his brothers words, Yuki gets up. Both brothers are beaten up, but they decide to continue on. Kuroi makes a dash for Bi-Han, who prepares to attack. Bi-Han throws a right head kick, but when he makes contact, Kuroi disappears. He reappears next to Bi-Hans left side and hits him with a left kick to the body. Bi-Han stumbles and slices with an ice ax, but Kuroi once again disappears in a cloud of shadow. Bi-Han shakes his head, clearly confused. Kuroi appears right in front of him, arms crossed. Bi-Han summons an ice hammer and goes for an overhead swing but once again hits nothing.
