Brooke's POV
Steve, Skye, and I ended up sitting under the bleachers until the bell rang, meaning school was done for today. We had to wait because we needed Twobits car.

"Come on, Skye" I help her up as we headed to Twobits car just as the bell rang.

"I told Twobit to meet us out here" Steve stated. We both nodded as we headed to the parking lot. I spotted Twobit, Pony, and Johnny waiting for us.

"What's going on, guys?" Pony asked casually as he slung an around me. I wanted to smile but couldn't.

"We'll talk about it at your place. Soda and Darry should be off by now" Steve said as he hoped in the passenger side.

"Why? What's going on?" Pony asked. Twobit and Johnny looked curious to.

"It's okay, Pones. Just need to talk about some stuff" I reassured him as the rest of us squeezed in the back some how.

We drove to the Curtis' house, where we saw Darry's truck parked outside. He gets off early some days.

We all got out as we headed inside.

"Hey guys. How was school?" Darry asked. Soda was lounging on the couch.

"About that...we need to talk" Steve said as he sat on the couch next to his buddy. Darry sat up straight, as did Soda.

"I mean with everyone" Steve looked to me. I nodded "I'll call, Dal" I went over to the phone.

"What's going on? Why does Dal need to be here?" Darry begun to worry.

"It's cool, Darry, just need to talk" Skye reassured while I dialled Buck's number.

"Hello?" A voice answered.

"Dal?"

"Ya...Brooke?"

"Ya it's me. Come to the Curtis', it's important" I hung up the phone as I went and sat down beside Skye.

Everyone was giving us questioning and confused looks as we waited for Dal. Soon enough, Dal walked through the door.

"Brooke? What's wrong!?" He panicked.

"I'm fine, Dal. But we need to talk" I said. He scrunched his brows but sat down.

"So?.." Darry said "what is it?"

"There's gonna be another rumble, there has to be" I said, seriously. I was done with this soc bullshit.
