Skye's POV

Brooke and I went to the Curtis house after we left the dingo.  I was excited to belong to my something that was all mine.  I was finally going to be someone besides Matthews sister.

"Where were you two?" Dally jumped to his feet the moment we opened the door.

"We went to Shepard's," Brooke said in a bored tone.

I crossed by arms across my chest, "just like we said we would."

Two-Bit looked up from Mickey Mouse, "did you girls eat anything?"

Brooke and I shot each other an annoyed look, "yeah, we did.  We went to the Dingo." I talked back, clearly irritated with him.

"Believe it or not," Brooke chimed in, " we can take care of ourselves."

"Which you two proved by getting sent to solitary," Dally snorted sarcastically.

Brooke and I both glared at him, "shut up, Dally!" Both of us yelled at the same time.

"Alright," Darry stepped in, "Dallas, cut the girls some slack." I smirked smuggly, but then Darry turned to us, "and you two need to realize the shit you put all of us through while you two were locked away."

Brooke and I both stared a spot on the floor. I knew that Darry had a point, but still. I couldn't wait to show the gang that we were quite capable of holding our own.

Later that evening, Brooke and I walked over the lot where the bonfire was being held.  Angela was already there with Carrie and Nicole.  I sat down next to Carrie, "Sever," I nodded toward her.

"Matthews," she took a drag of her smoke, "how was juvie?"

"Biggest thrill of my life," I muttered as I rolled my eyes, "how the fuck do you think it was?"

She chuckled, "doncha know that you're suppose to keep your head down and your mouth shut."

"You know she's a Matthews, right?" Nicole jumped in.  I had to laugh.  I mean she wasn't wrong.

Mandy and Jess came walking up together.  Those two really are inseparable.  We sat around the bonfire talking...just shooting the shit.  Eventually, Ang stood up, "so you all know why you're here.  I was thinking we could name our gang after Tori." She said that part quietly.  I could tell that losing Tori still affected Angela so much.

"I like it," Brooke called out.

"I second!" I said right after.  Mitchell's Gang.  It had a nice ring to it, "we also need something that sets us apart from other girls, ya know?  So they know that we're a gang."

"Yeah," Brooke agreed, "but what?"

Carrie grinned and rolled up her shirt, "my sister does tattoos."

Angela smiled widely, "perfect.  Let's go get inked."

Brooke and I exchanged an uneasy look, but we were trying to prove that we weren't kids, "we're in!"  I spoke for both of us.

We passed around a bottle of whiskey, each taking a shot.  We followed Carrie to her sister's place to get tattoos.  This was gonna be interesting.
