"Blimey dad, how far up are we?" Ron asked, as they walked up many flights of stairs for their seats.

"Well, if it rains, you'll be first to know." Lucius Malfoy said, looking in disgust.

"Father and I are in the ministers box, by personal invitation of Cornelius Fudge himself." Draco said proudly, puffing his chest as his father hit him in the foot with his snake cane.

"Now, now Draco. There's no need to boast. Blood has it's privilege. As I'm sure your schoolmates are aware. Too bad Marshall, you could've done great things. Your family used to be very prominent, too bad they ruined it." Lucius said, looking directly at Carson, his eyes looking nastily at Hermione, and then to Harry.

Carson connected his and Hermione's hands and he pecked her cheek as Lucius started talking to Harry.

"Mr. Potter."

They leave, and the Weasley's along with Harry, Hermione, and Carson follow along to their seats.

"It's the Irish! There's Troy!" Fred shouted, looking out into the pitch. "And here comes Moran..."

"Here come the Bulgarians!" George shouted, as Krum flew into view.

"It's Krum! The best seeker in the world!" Ron shouted, pointing to the Bulgarian brute.

Once all the players were in view, the minister started talking. "Good evening! As Minister for Magic, it gives me great pleasure to welcome each and every one of you to the final of the four hundred and twenty-second Quidditch World Cup! Let the match begin!" Fudge said, a ball of light bursting from his wand. With that, the match started and the score box read, "BULGARIA: ZERO, IRELAND: ZERO"

As the night went on, Ron fangirled over Krum the entire time, and more often than not, Hermione and Carson were sharing many kisses. Fred, George, and Ginny were all yelling throughout the match.

"KRUM! YOU IDIOT! WHY WOULD YOU CATCH THE SNITCH WHEN THEYRE STILL AHEAD MORE THAN 150 POINTS!" Ron shouted, as Krum ended the game by catching the snitch, when Ireland was 160 points ahead.

"Are you still trying to get his autograph then?" Carson asked, "Yeah. I'm getting that autograph."

Back in the tent, the friends were talking about the match, since they all could not sleep.

"Brilliant Krum, wasn't he? Did you see him put Lynch into the ground with the Wronski Feint? It was positively brutal." Ron said, his crush on Krum coming back.

"I think you're in love Ron." Hermione said as her and Carson were lying together in his bed, cuddling under the covers.

"Quiet. You're in love with Carson. You can't talk."

"At least I'm in love with someone who knows I exist and loves me back." She quipped back to Ron, who didn't say anything else.

Suddenly, there was a roar from outside and some screaming.

"Sounds like the Irish have got their pride on." Fred commented, as Mr. Weasley rushed in.

"It's not the Irish! Get dressed! Now!" He commanded, everyone following his instructions.

Everyone rushed outside to see people running and screaming. People were setting tents on fire, and some people were floating in the air.

"Who are those people? In the air?" Ginny asked scared.

"They're muggles!" Mr. Weasley said, panicked. "And the ones on the floor?" Ginny continued.

"Death eaters!" Hermione said, grabbing Carson's hand as he pulled her closer protectively. Mr. Weasley got out his wand and Harry and Carson did as well, out of instinct. He noticed their wands out and gave them new instructions.

"No. Get back to the portkey. All of you. And stick together. Fred, George, your responsible for Ginny. Ginny, you listen to your brothers. Do you hear me?" Mr. Weasley said in the most commanding tone any of them had ever heard.

The group started running, Harry and Carson being pushed back and forth. Soon, an explosion happens, and Hermione and Carson's hand disconnect from each other, Carson and Harry being pushed one way, as Hermione was pushed by the Weasley boys a different way.

"Carson! Carson!" Hermione screeched, scared for her boyfriend.

"Hermione! We'll meet you by the portkey! Stay safe!" Carson shouted over the crowd, as he and Harry kept getting pushed. Hermione left with the group and Carson and Harry getting pushed to the ground. A couple of people stepped on them, eager to get away, and one strike caused them to both black out on the ground, with death eaters attacking. Carson sent a light to Hermione with his necklace before blacking out.
