"HERMIONE!" Carson shouted, running over to her and letting Harry and Neville finish off the death eater.

"Hermione...please don't be dead...I need you here...you can't leave me! No! No! Please be okay! Please!" Carson muttered, as he looked at her with tears in his eyes.

"Hermione...wake up...please!"

'What did they do to her?" Neville asked, and Carson shook his head.

"I don't know! I don't know what happened! Wake up Hermione, please! I still need you here! You can't be dead! We were supposed to have a future! Together!" Carson cried as Neville felt her wrist. At this point, Carson was crying into Hermione as he rested his head on her chest.

"She's alive Carson, there's a heartbeat."

"Can we carry her? I can't leave her here. We need to get her out of here! She needs to get help!" Carson asked, taking his head off her chest and recomposing himself.

"I'll do it. You two are better at fighting." Neville told them, as he hoisted Hermione on his back. They exited the room and went back to the room with the many doors. As they exited the room, they were met with Luna, Ginny, and Ron. Ron was walking funny, and the two girls were supporting him.

"What happened?" Harry asked, seeing the state they were in.

"I think my ankle is broken, and somebody hit Ron with a weird spell..."

"Hiya Harry, Carson, you two look funny......" Ron said through giggles and fell to the floor, taking Ginny with him.

Harry helped Ginny up, and Carson helped Ron get back up. "They hit her with something too..." Luna explained, as Ginny was breathing heavily.

"We need to get out of here. Luna, can you help with Ginny?"

Luna moved to Ginny's side, as five death eaters opened the door. "There they are!" Bellatrix shouted. Stunning spells were fired everywhere, as the group of students ran into the nearest door. Luna is blasted off her feet with a stunning spell, taking Ginny with her. Neville was also hit, Hermione rolling away from his grasp.

Malfoy came bursting into the room and cornered Harry, as Carson was grabbed by a death eater.

"Your race is run Potter. Hand it over."

"Let my friends go and I will."

Bellatrix and several others brought everyone into the room and formed a circle around Harry. Each student had a wand on their neck and were thrashing around furiously.

"You are in no position to negotiate."

"Don't do it Harry! Don't do it!"

"Stop Neville!"

Bellatrix gasped at Harry's words. "Neville? Neville Longbottom?" Bellatrix asked as she laughed with glee. "Oh dear boy, I paid your parents a visit a long time ago! We had such a time!"

"You put them in St. Mungo's!"

"So Potter, give us the prophecy or I'll see how long it takes to crack Longbottom like his parents!"

"Don't you dare! I'll kill you! I'll do it without magic! Try me Bellatrix!"

"Don't give it to them!"

"Don't do it Harry!"

Bellatrix pushed Carson over to Neville and aimed her wand at the two of them. "Crucio!"

Both boys screamed in pain at the top of their lungs, Neville curled into a ball as Carson tried to shield him from the curse. It worked eventually and now Carson was the one taking all the pain.

The doors at the top of the chamber exploded, and Remus, Tonks, Mary, Kingsley, and Moody arrived. They fired spells at the death eaters, and Harry jumped from where he was to Neville and Carson.

"Are you two alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine. Neville?"

"I'm...I'm okay."

"You were very brave out there Neville. The DA taught you well." Carson praised, as Neville smiled proudly.

The boys made their way to the death eaters as they kept fighting. A death eater surrounded the three and shouted, "Give me the prophecy!" Neville was quick and punched the death eater, and Harry punched him in the ribs. The death eater fell over, and struck Harry's body by accident, sending the prophecy flying.

Malfoy noticed the orb flying, and before he could get to it, Steven tackled him to the floor, both men falling to the ground. The prophecy fell down and smashed to the floor, the hushed voice of Professor Trelawney coming out of the glass. Steven and Sirius ran up to Carson, Harry and Neville and commanded them, "Get out of here you three!"

Steven pointed to the door, "That will take you back to the department of mysteries."

"Come with us dad!"

"We can't, Sirius and I have to fight. You're the important ones here, we have to help the order."

As the two dueled Bellatrix, Dumbledore came into view.

"It's Dumbledore!" Neville exclaimed, as his eyes blazed with anger. Carson had never seen Dumbledore so mad.

"Is that all you've got dear cousin?!" Steven shouted, and before he knew it Bellatrix fired the curse, "Avada kedavra!"

The curse blasted into two people, Steven, and Sirius. "DAD! NO!" Carson shouted, as Steven turned to face his son one last time with a smile before falling into the veil, Sirius falling in shortly after.

"NO! No! No!" Carson cried, as Tonks held Carson back, and Remus did the same with Harry.

"I can save him! I can go into the veil! I can get him! Tonks let me go!"

"I can't do that Carson!"

And with that, Carson let out a cry of complete and utter anguish and sadness, sinking to the floor below. Harry had run off, and Remus and Tonks kneeled down to the boy crying on the floor.
