Harry chugged the vial of liquid luck and looked back at the three friends. He had a smile on his face and his eyes shined happily.

"Well? How do you feel?" Hermione asked expectantly.

"Excellent. Really excellent." Harry answered.

"Now remember. Slughorn usually eats early, takes a short walk and then returns to his office." Carson told him matter of factly.

"Right. I'm going down to Hagrid's." Harry announced.

"What? No! You're supposed to go to Slughorn and get the memory!" Carson intervenes, Harry shaking his head.

"No. I've got a good feeling about going to Hagrid's. I feel like it's the place to be tonight, know what I mean?"

"No." Hermione, Carson, and Ron said in unison.

"Trust me. I know what I'm doing. Or at least Felix does." Harry told the group, and left out the portrait door.

Hermione and Carson went up to their dorm, Ron leaving to go find Lavender. They walked up to their dorm, and sat down on the bed.

"Do you think Harry's going to get the memory?"

"Yeah. As long as he has the liquid luck he'll be fine. He's lucky." Carson answered.

"Do you think everything will work out?"

"What do you mean 'Mione?"

"Voldemort. He's back, he's getting his army back. Do you think we'll have the future we planned?"

"Of course we will. Harry will defeat him yet again, and for good. He's off trying to solve how to kill him right now. Trust me, we'll get married, have kids, grow old together. All of it, I promise." Carson answered, pulling her into a kiss. She eagerly wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him impossibly closer to her.

The couple sat together and forgot about everything going on. They put all the thoughts of the next war, Voldemort, the death eaters, everything away from their minds. If only they knew how bad things were going to get soon.

Harry had come back to the common room telling Ron, Carson, and Hermione about the memory he had gotten from Slughorn and what horcruxes were.

"Hermione, is the Room of Requirement unplottable?" Harry asked quickly.

"If one wants it to be. Why?"

"It would explain why I thought Malfoy was leaving the castle when he disappeared off the Map. He was going to the Room of Requirement."

"Of course, and that explains the Vanishing Cabinet as well!"

"No. I got an owl from Dad this morning. The one at Borgin & Burke's? It's still there."

"But I'm telling you. I saw it."

"There's two. Like I said before! That's it!" Carson exclaimed.

"I'm going on a mission with Dumbledore. To destroy a horcrux. The ring he's been wearing all year. It's a horcrux. He's been wearing it so nobody could take it."

"Good luck Harry. We'll be here waiting for you." Carson told him, Hermione and Ron nodding reassuringly, but still showing concern.

"I don't need luck. I'll be with Dumbledore." Harry dismissed, exiting the common room. If only he knew what was to come.

As the three waited that night, they heard a bang and looked outside. By the astronomy tower, the dark mark hovered in the air. Death eaters were in the castle.
