Dumbledore drew his wand at the blue flames, and name popped out of the fire and into his hands.

"The Durmstrang champion is.... Viktor Krum!" Dumbledore announces, the whole Slytherin table plus Ron, cheering.

"No surprise there!" Ron shouted, fangirling once again.

The hall grows quiet again, as another name pops out and into Dumbledore's hands. "The Beauxbatons' champion.... Fleur Delacour!" Dumbledore shouted, the Ravenclaw table cheering for Fleur, as Ron gawked over her again.

"I'm telling you; they don't make them like that at Hogwarts." Ron said, staring at the girl.

"They make them much better at Hogwarts." Carson said, pulling Hermione into his side as she nestled her head into the bottom of his chin. Ron wolf whistled at Fleur, and Hermione gave him a glare.

Another purple flame erupted and shot out a name, as Dumbledore picked it up. "And now the Hogwarts champion.... Cedric Diggory!"

The whole Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor table cheered for Cedric as he went up to where he was supposed to, receiving high fived and pats on the back as he went.

"Silly git." Ron grumbled under his breath, and Hermione heard him. "He's meant to be quite smart, and he's a prefect." Hermione corrected as she was still nestled up under Carson's chin, as Carson nodded his head as much as he could without hurting Hermione.

"Like that's a good thing." Ron said, emphasizing the word 'that'.

"Excellent! We now have our three champions! I'm sure I can count on you to give your full support to..." Dumbledore trailed off, as two more names came out. Everybody turned to on another, growing confused and scared.

Dumbledore took the two pieces and shouted out into the great hall, "Harry Potter and Carson Marshall!"

"What?! I did not put my name in!" Carson shouted, Hermione latching onto him even more.

"Harry Potter and Carson Marshall!" Dumbledore shouted again, getting angrier each time.

"I- I didn't- I couldn't" Carson stammered, as Hermione nodded.

"I know love, just go. You can sort it out with Dumbledore and get your name taken out." Hermione said, pushing Carson out of his seat. He walked over to Dumbledore with Harry, as people whispered about them.

"They're cheats!" One boy shouted out. "They're not even seventeen yet!" Another called out.

The two walked past Dumbledore as they went into where the champions were supposed to be. When they looked over at Dumbledore, he was anything but happy.

"Do zey want us back in ze Hall?" Fleur said, her French accent prominent, as both Krum and Cedric looked at the two confused. Both boys stuttered on their words, trying to get out a sentence about how their names got called out. Suddenly, the door burst open, with every headmaster, along with Barty Crouch and Professor Snape.

"What is ze meaning of zis, Dumbly-dorr!" Madame Maxine shouted, as Dumbledore rushed over to Harry and Carson.

"Did you two put your name in the goblet of fire?!" He asked, sternly.

"No sir! Carson and I didn't. All Carson could talk about was how dangerous this was, and he would never enter!" Harry said, barely formulating his sentence.

"Did you ask an older student to put your name in for you?!" Dumbledore asked again.

"No sir! Harry and I didn't enter!" Carson shouted, growing more nervous each minute.

"Ah! But of course, zey are lying!" Madame Maxine cut in.

"The hell they are! The goblet of fire is an exceptionally powerful magical object. Only an exceptionally powerful confundus charm would be able to hoodwink it." Professor Moody said, entering the room.

"You've seemed to have given this a fair amount of thought Moody." Karkaroff said, glaring at the professor.

"It was once my job to think the way dark wizards do Karkaroff. Perhaps you remember."

After a whole lot of arguing between the professors and Professor McGonagall yelling at Dumbledore telling him to cancel the tournament because it was most certainly not safe for the two boys, and left Harry and Carson fearing for their lives after being told they had no choice but to compete, Carson and Harry went back to the Gryffindor common room.

They were told the task would be on Novembertwenty fourth, but no other information. Harry, to talk to Ron about all ofthis, and Carson to tell his girlfriend he was forced to compete in a deadlytournament. Carson sent a light from his necklace to Hermione telling her hewas on his way back. They never took those necklace's off. Life was anythingbut good right now for Harry Potter and Carson Marshall.
