"Well, that went well." Hermione said, as Carson nodded.

"Yeah."

"What about her?"

"Well, she could take her eyes off you, could she!"

Harry smiled at this and they kept walking back to the school. The next few days were quiet, and Harry was walking down a corridor alone when Carson came running up to him.

"Harry! You won't believe...that pink toad! This is too much!" He exclaimed, pulling Harry the direction he came from.

"What's she done now?"

"Follow me!" Carson shouted, and they ran to where another educational decree was posted.

"By order of the Hogwarts High Inquisitor: all student organizations, societies, teams, groups, and clubs are henceforth disbanded. Permission to reform must be approved by High Inquisitor Umbridge. No student organizations can exist without the knowledge and approval of the High Inquisitor. Any student found to be apart of an illegal organization will be expelled immediately." Harry read out, as Carson looked furious.

"She refused to allow Angelina and I to reform the Gryffindor quidditch team. We had to go to Dumbledore to get her to allow it." Carson explained, without thinking of the DA.

"Not only that but what about the DA?!" Harry said angrily, as Carson shrugged his shoulders.

"No clue. Let's go talk to Hermione, she probably can think of something!"

When they arrived at the common room, Carson and Harry told them about the new rule.

"This isn't a coincidence. She knows."

"She can't! Hermione enchanted it."

"Look, we don't know how many people could've overheard our meeting and told her."

"Or somebody at the meeting blabbed to her"

"They couldn't have. 'Mione enchanted it. Nobody can betray the DA without her knowing."

"What would we do without you Hermione?"

"You would've died, Carson would be extremely lonely and loveless, nothing much would change for Ron. He'd be dead too."

"Well thanks. Glad to know you love me." Carson told her, kissing her cheek.

Suddenly, Hedwig bursts into the common room, and falls to the floor.

"Hedwig!"

"She's hurt!"

"She doesn't look very good."

"What happened?"

"Harry, you better get her to Professor Grubbly-Plank. She'll know what to do."

Harry took the injured owl in his arms and ran off to get her to safety, leaving the other three alone. Ron had gone to his dorm, and it was just Carson and Hermione.

"Can I ask you something Carson?"

"Yeah. What's on your mind?"

"About our future. What do you think that would look like?"

"We'd be married, in a house in muggle London close to the wizarding world or the countryside. Two kids. A boy, Steven Sirius Marshall, named after my father and godfather, and a girl, Jean Minerva Marshall after your grandmother and professor McGonagall since I know you love her. Harry and maybe Ginny would be godfather and godmother to Steven, and Ron and Professor McGonagall would be godfather and godmother to Jean. You would also be the minister of magic, and I would be an auror. Or maybe you could work in the care and regulation of the magical creatures department before being minister. Of course, we both would graduate from Hogwarts as well. You could teach the children magic before they go to school, and I could teach them how to play quidditch." Carson told her, as she smiled at the thought of Carson running around with two kids in a house in the countryside.

"That sounds lovely. I want that too." Hermione said to him, as they both smiled and went up to their dorm.

Both of them were going to make that future a reality. They were sure of it. Nothing would stop them, once Voldemort was gone for good, they would raise their kids in a safer world. Both of them went to bed and had dreamt of the future that they were going to have.
