The weather was very bad outside, it thunder storming and lightning all over the quidditch pitch. Carson was surprised they were even still playing.

Hermione could be spotted in the stands, wearing Carson's extra quidditch jersey. He wasn't able to see her, due to the horrid weather, but he knew she was there.

The Gryffindor team was playing Hufflepuff, they weren't supposed to be but Slytherin called off their match. They used Draco's, now healed arm, as an excuse to get out of playing in the bad weather.

Carson was doing a pretty good job, despite the rain. Hermione had casted a water repelling charm on his goggles so he could see better.

"Another goal scored by Marshall! This is turning up to be a quite the match folks!" Lee Jordan's commentary rang throughout the pitch. He could faintly hear Hermione cheering for him as he met back up with Harry.

"You doing alright Harry? Spot any snitches?" Carson asked, as Harry flew over to him.

"Not yet. I did once, but I couldn't catch it. I can barely see in this weather."

"Same here. But Hermione casted a charm on my goggles, so I can see a bit better. But still not all that great." Carson explained to Harry.

"Cares about her boyfriend more than me huh?" Harry said, not really expecting an answer from Hermione's boyfriend.

"Yep. That's exactly what it is. Glad you understand Har." Carson said, patting Harry's shoulder.

Suddenly, they both felt cold. Just like on the train earlier this year. The voices of the crowed slowly faded out as the two looked at each other. They couldn't talk to each other, them not being able to hear anything going on except the screams.

Carson heard a man screaming, but he didn't know who. It definitely wasn't his father. It wasn't Harry, it wasn't Ron, it wasn't Professor Lupin, he didn't know who else it could be. He saw the grim in the distance, another sign.

Carson felt his eye's slip shut, as everything went black, and he could feel himself falling to the ground below him. It was a long way down, however.

"No!" Hermione shouted, seeing Carson fall off his broom. "CARSON! GRAB THE BROOM! GET BACK UP!" she shouted as tears fell freely, not realizing it was because of the dementors until Dumbledore got Carson to safety.

When Carson came back to consciousness, he was met with many people hovering over him. "Looks a bit peaky doesn't he?" Ron said, as Carson recognized the voice. He hadn't opened his eyes yet.

"Peaky? What d'you expect him to look like? He fell fifty feet." Fred said, Hermione making a nervous squeaking sound.

"Yeah, c'mon, Ron. We'll walk you off the Astronomy Tower and see how you come out looking." George said, as Ron gave his brother a glare.

"Probably a right sight better than he normally does." Harry chimed in.

Carson opened his eyes, immediately being crushed into a hug. "Carson! How are you feeling love?" Hermione said, checking him over.

"Fine, I guess. Better now at least." Carson said, happy to not be in the pouring rain.

"Gave us a right good scare mate." Fred said, as George, Ron, and Harry nodded in agreement.

"What happened?" Carson asked the group, everyone giving him nervous looks.

"You fell off your broom. Hermione was going mental once she saw you fall." Ron said, Hermione giving him a glare.

"Who won the match? Did Harry get the snitch?" Carson asked, the group shaking their heads.

"He went to go try and catch you when Diggory caught the snitch." Fred said, Carson nodding in disappointment.

"Well, at least Harry tried to help me." Carson said, looking on the bright side of things.

"Yeah. On the other hand, we lost your broom. It fell into the whomping willow, it's gone Carson." Harry explained, as Carson shrugged his shoulders.

"Don't care about the broom. I'm lucky to still be alive. I'll have mum and dad send me a new one." Carson told the group, the few that were left at least. Fred and George had left.

"Yeah. I'm glad you're okay. I was really worried when you fell." Hermione said, as Carson connected their lips.

Harry and Ron had left at this point, not wanting to see this. The couple kept their lips on each other's and spent the rest of the day in the hospital wing together as a couple.
