As Harry and Carson were blacked out, the campsite became empty and dark. A figure could be seen walking through the grounds, wand out. The two boys woke up, to see the figure pointing his wand to the sky.
"MORSEMORDE!" the figure said, a giant green mark being cast into the sky above.
Harry recoils in pain, the searing pain in his scar becoming prominent. As both boys looked up to see a skull with a snake coming out of it. They looked at each other, not knowing what the mark was, but it looked like it was a bad thing. The figure started walking closer to them, and they were too scared to move.
"Carson! Harry!" Hermione shouted, as the figure disappeared into the night at the sound of others coming.
"Harry! Carson!" Ron shouted next, seeing them in the distance as the two ran closer.
"Carson! Are you okay?!" Hermione said, crashing onto the ground and brining him into a hug.
"We thought we lost you guys. And then..." Ron said, looking at the sky, noticing the mark and looking nervous.
"What is that?" Harry asked, Carson nodding in agreement.
"You don't know?" Hermione asked, beginning to tell them as Harry cut her off and shouted, "DUCK!"
The group ducked in time and missed the ten shots of light aimed at them. Carson brought Hermione closer to him and protected her from the spells.
"Stop! Stop! That's my son!" Mr. Weasley shouted, running to the group.
"Ron- Harry- Hermione- Carson. Are you alright?" Mr. Weasley asked, but being interrupted by Barty Crouch.
"Which one of you conjured it?!" He shouted; his wand aimed at Carson.
"Mr. Couch, you cant possibly..." Mr. Weasley started, being cut off by Crouch again.
"Do not lie! You've been discovered at the scene of the crime!"
"Crime?" Harry repeated, not knowing how this was a crime.
Mr. Crouch now had his wand pointed at Harry before he saw his scar and lowered it.
"Barty...their just kids." Mr. Weasley said, calming Crouch down a bit.
"What crime?" Carson asked, keeping Hermione in his embrace.
"That's his mark. You know who. It's his mark." Hermione explained, looking up at the sky.
"Voldemort?"
"Why does he always have to do that?" Ron complained about Harry using his name.
"The people tonight, in the masks. They're his followers aren't they?" Harry asked the group.
"Death eaters." Mr. Weasley muttered, to nobody in particular.
"There was someone before. A man. I saw him." Carson explained to the adults, all of them looking at Carson in curiosity, including his girlfriend.
"A man? Who Carson?" Mr. Weasley asked.
"I dunno. One minute he was there, the next he was gone. I never saw his face. Could've been anyone." Carson told the group, them all nodding along as Hermione buried herself into Carson tighter.
