"He's too weak." Fleur warns them, talking about Ollivander.
They don't listen to Fluer's warning, and the boys go to see Ollivander, Hermione staying back with the baby to feed him and put him to bed for a nap. Ollivander looks very weak and fragile when they walk inside. When he notices they're there, he gives them a feeble smile.
"Forgive me if I don't get up." Ollivander tells them.
"Mr. Ollivander, I need to ask you a few questions." Harry starts.
"Anything, m'boy, anything." Ollivander answers, willing to answer Harry's questions, since he saved him from the dungeons.
"Can you identify these, sir?" Harry asks, as Ollivander takes one wand in his hand.
"Walnut and dragon heartstring. Twelve and three quarter inches. Unyielding. This belongs to Bellatrix Lestrange." The wandmaker answers, looking over the wand.
"And this?" Harry asks again, handing over another wand.
"Hawthorn. Unicorn hair. Ten inches. Reasonably pliant. This was the wand of Draco Malfoy." Ollivander answers again, as the three boys look at him confused.
"Was? Isn't it still his Mr. Ollivander?" Carson questions.
"Perhaps not if you won it from him. I sense its allegiance has changed."
"You talk about wands like they've got feelings. Can think." Harry interrupts.
"The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Potter. That much has always been clear to those of us who have studied wandlore."
Ollivander hands back the wands, as Harry ponders what he said. A faint cry is heard throughout the house, and Carson looks back at the door.
"Just stay here for a few minutes Carson, I'm sure Hermione has it handled." Harry tells him, as Carson nods, trying to convince himself that as well. He knew she was a good mother, but he was still worried.
"What do you know about the Deathly Hallows, sir?" Harry asks again, as Ollivanders eyes widen with curiosity, and a hint of fear.
"There are rumored to be three: The Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone and the Invisibility Cloak. It is said that to possess them all is to make oneself the Master of Death. But few truly believe such objects exist..."
"But you sir? Do you believe they exist?" Ron questions, as Ollivander shakes his head.
"I see no reason to put stock in an old wives tale.." Ollivander dismisses.
"You're lying. You know one exists and you told him about it. You told him about the Elder Wand and where to go looking for it." Harry stated to the wandmaker, as he grew scared.
"He tortured me! Besides, I conveyed only rumors. There's no guarantee he will find it!"
"He has found it." Harry states simply, as Ollivander looks stunned.
"That's all, sir. We'll leave you to get some rest now." Harry tells him, as they start to walk out.
"He's after you, Mr. Potter. If it's true, what you say, that he has the Elder Wand, I'm afraid you really don't stand a chance." Ollivander warned.
"Then I guess I'll just have to kill him before he finds me, sir." Harry comments, as they walk out.
Carson splits up from Harry and Ron, and goes to the room Hermione is in. He walks in to see Hermione reading in bed, Steven asleep next to her. Hermione looked over to see him enter, and smiled at his presence. Carson sits down next to her on the bed, his eyes focused on his son.
"I know Harry has a plan, he's a little predictable. I've written to your mother, she can take Steven when we leave. I want him to be safe while we're gone, and he seems safest with her." Hermione whispered to him, as Carson nodded his head.
"Alright. That seems like a good idea." Carson told her, and the two got up and left the room after hearing Harry call them, Luna and Fleur going to watch over the baby.
