Later that evening, Harry, Carson, and Hermione were in the common room when Harry got a letter from Sirius telling him to be in the common room at one am. Carson and Hermione stayed as well, since they wanted to hear what Sirius had to say.

Carson and Harry were reading the daily prophet, where the champion section is, and Carson and Harry's pictures were two times bigger than the others, and Cedric wasn't even mentioned. Hermione had her head in Carson's lap as she read her book.

"Harry!" A hoarse voice called out, and the three made their way over to the fire.

"Sirius!" Both Carson and Harry said simultaneously.

"Harry, Carson. So, Triwizard champions, congratulations." Sirius started, Carson cutting him off, "Yeah right. Nothing to be congratulated for."

"Seen much of Karkaroff?" Sirius asked, knowing he was the Durmstrang headmaster.

"Not really...why do you ask?" Harry asked Sirius.

"There's something you should know about him boys. Karkaroff was a death eater."

"Does anyone really stop being a death eater?" Carson asked, Sirius looking at him like he was stupid.

"Do you want my answer or the ministry's?" he asked, Carson dropping the question.

"Do you think he put our names in the goblet?" Harry chimed in.

"Dunno. But whoever put your name in the goblet didn't do it thinking you'll win. I think they'll be quite contented if you die trying." Sirius explained, Hermione clutching onto Carson, Carson pulling her into him.

"I'm not ready for this Sirius." Harry said, now taking Carson out of the conversation, as Hermione fell asleep, and Carson was drifting off as well.

"Well then get ready. These things aren't happening by chance. You're the boy who lived. When you have a dream, it's not just a dream. When your scar hurts, it's not just a twinge. Your past is everyone's past. As is your future...don't you see? He's out there somewhere, waiting. You have to get stronger because he's getting stronger." Sirius explained, as Harry heard someone walking down the stairs.

"Someone's coming!"

"Dumbledore cant help you all the time, keep your friends close." Sirius said, and left the fire just as Ron appeared.

"Who were you talking to?" He asked, glaring at Harry.

"Carson and Hermione." Harry motioned to the two.

"But they're asleep." Ron pointed out, the couple curled up together on the couch, out cold.

"You're probably preparing for your next interview. Whatever." Ron said, going back upstairs, Harry soon following.

The couple slept on the couch for the rest of the night and woke up early to sneak back up into their dorms, making it look like they weren't together all night on the couch.

The next day, Harry Carson and Neville were at the black lake, just hanging out. Neville was reading a herbology book.

"Amazing." Neville muttered out, eyes still on the book.

"Neville, your doing it again." Carson said in a gentle tone, as Neville looked up at him.

"Sorry Carson."

"It's okay. What are you reading about?" Carson asked, as Neville started talking about plants. He sure knew a lot about them. "Moody gave me this book. They day we had tea."

"Hey 'Mione." Carson said, pecking her lips as she walked over to him and Harry.

"Hi love. Ronald you like me to tell you guys...that Seamus told him that Dean was told by Parvati that Hagrid was looking for you." Hermione said uncomfortably.

"Is that right? Well...what?" Harry asked, forgetting what was said because of all the names. Carson had his arm around Hermione, kissing her cheek as she spoke up again.

"Don't make me repeat it. Hagrid's looking for you." She said again, leaning up to capture Carson's lips.

"Well, you can tell Ronald..."

"She's not an owl! Ronald if you have something you would like to tell us do it yourself!" Carson shouted, taking Hermione and Harry aback.

"Thanks love." Hermione whispered to him, as Harry and Ron stared at each other bitterly. "No problem 'Mione. I'm going to go catch up with Harry. Love you." Carson told her, as Hermione went back to Ginny "Love you too Carson." Hermione shouted, as Carson caught up with Harry.
