"Five, six, seven, eight!" I start as the girls get ready.

The music starts as the girls began to use instruments to keep up with the song.

I inspected everyone who was playing instruments, they seem to be playing well it wasn't crazy at all.

They were really good, I wish I could play an instrument.

"Alaska, here's the sheet we've been working on. Our positions for debut are here unless you want to change something, let us know." Nina smiled as she passed me a paper. "We all agreed on our own positions so you need to confirm yours or change it."

I took the paper and looked at it closely, wow...

"Center? Why am I center along with Yuna?" I questioned

"Center? Why am I center along with Yuna?" I questioned.

"Well we figured since both of you draw attention or most likely will draw attention to group you both should be our center." Nina explained. "Unless.. You aren't okay with it, I know your anxiety can be a lot for you to be center but I think it can be good for the group."

"Right.." I nodded silently as I stared at the paper.

"We could take it out, I know being the ACE can be really pressuring for you so if you want I'll take it out." Nina shook her head as she took the paper.

"No— It's fine, I just wish you guys time give the center more to Yuna." I said as I turned to Yuna who was stretching. "She deserves more attention."

"If thats what you want." Nina nodded as she skipped away.

Well, that was interesting..

They really wanted me to be center? But I'm really not that much center material, I'm not trying to insult myself but I really feel like Yuna can be the center on her own! She would do so amazing!

"Alaska, could you help us?" Ayaka called my attention so I go over to the little group.

"Of course." I smiled as I walked towards them.

Not gonna lie, my body is sort of used to all the work but it still gets sore from time to time. I just hope that we're prepared for the showcase.

We were going to do a rock version of lovesick girls by Blackpink. How did it get to this? It was Aaliyah's plan, honestly I didn't mind it.

We had the dance down, all we needed to focus on is executive it perfectly. That meant I had to rap Jennie's part while Rima rapped Lisa's and also hit the drums. Every key had to be played perfectly, the dancing had to be spot on and there could be no mistakes.

"I hope we won't do mistakes on the showcase." Yeimy sighed as she sat down.

"We won't." I tell her as I pat her back.

"How do you know?" Yeimy furrowed her eyebrows.

"We cannot make mistakes, I know it may be hard to believe but you have to be strict on yourself. You need to be confident you won't make mistakes, there's no if we make a mistake. We will not make a mistake." I explained. "You need to change your mindset because that's what makes you more nervous."

"Ah." Yeimy nodded. "I won't make a mistake, I don't make mistakes."

"Thats it!" I winked.

"You don't make mistakes? Remember when Psy suggested you become a dancer and then your first day of dancing you didn't even show up because you couldn't find the dance room?" Aaliyah snorted as she sat down next to Yeimy.

"Hey!" Yeimy argued. "It was my first week and I only ever went to the instrument room."

I laughed with Aaliyah as Yeimy pouted in annoyance, it does seem like both were close. They were nice and funny to be around, I hope we can continue to grow closer.

"I remember when Aaliyah tried vocal for the first time her voice cracked trying to reach a high note." Yeimy shot back. "You chose a hard song to start with? Who does that?"

"Oh shut it! You can't hit a high note either!" Aaliyah rolled her eyes at Yeimy before standing up. "You act like you're better!"

"I don't think anyone here can hit a high note for that matter, unless your name is Alaska and Nina." Yeimy argued.

"Huh? Me?" I look at them with confusion. "Since when did I have that talent?"

"We heard you singing hi high in your room when the dorm was empty." Yeimy snorted. "It was pretty nice."

"Jesus! Do you guys always happen to be at the dorm when I think its empty?" I groaned as I covered my head with my hands.

"Sometimes, we like to be sneaky." Aaliyah smirked before getting back to the piano.

"Whatever, I'm going go to the lobby and see if I can see spot Hyuna." I joked as I left the room with all the girls inside.

I mean who wouldn't want to meet Hyuna? Now that I was apart of Pnation (well not officially), I didn't want to abuse my power but like come on! I'm definitely saying hi if I see Hyuna.

As I got to the first floor I looked around and stood there on my phone for a bit, it was nice seeing the staff doing their job but also joking around with each other.

I felt grown up.

It felt ready peaceful until someone bumped into me causing me to lose my balance and fall.v

Gosh, this is embarrassing.

"Oh, sorry!" I heard words in Korean before I looked up to see who it was.

I quickly got up and see it was Dawn.

The one and only Dawn!

"Ah, sorry." I managed to say in Korean.

Dawn widened his eyes as he looked at me.

"Ah! You're that foreigner!" He spoke in English with a huge smile.

"Yes! Hi! I'm Alaska!" I introduced myself in english with a wave.

"Good luck on the showcase, I have to go now." He continued as he bowed his head a little and walked out the lobby.

Wow.

That was magical.

Not that I had a crush on the guy but like.. He's fucking pretty!

If he was here, where's Hyuna?

"Excuse me, can you help me find—"

I turn around to the voice and see the boy I didn't want to see but still manage to keep running into.

Why does the universe hate me? Does the universe just hate seeing women win?
