"Only one group will be eliminated by the end of this week." JYP said.

It was Wednesday and I was really afraid that we were going to be the first eliminated. I really thought we had the potential, but sadly I think too bright.

"You are ranked right now, It's individually and you will have 3 weeks to practice another song. This time you will stay with your given group but switch mentors. Alaska, your group will be with Chan!" JYP announced in both english and korean.

As he announced the other groups I felt really sad, I liked having Jisung and Felix as my leader. I felt a lot more comfortable with Felix and Jisung understood me when it came to rap.

But I trust Chan a lot actually, he was a leader so maybe I could learn more qualities from him.

"Hello everyone, I'm Christopher, Chan, Channie, Chris or whatever you want to call me." Chan smiled brightly as we walked into the dance studio.

"Please close the door, Nina." Chan advised and then faced Yuna and I.

"Do you know what song we'll be performing? I'm Alaska." I smiled at him.

"Yes, glad to meet you Alaska I've heard a lot from you. I see you're close with Felix." Chan giggled. "And you three will be performing Twice sunbaenim's I can't stop me."

"Oh my god! I love that song!" Nina rushed to our sides. "But isn't it still hard?"

"That's right, its more of a challenging song with the choreogeaphy so I'm here to make sure you all do better." Chan clasped his hands together and started the lesson.

"HE'S CRAZY!" Nina panted harshly. "Not even Alaska made us practice this hard!"

I chuckled at the comment as I took a huge gulp of water, practice was over and Chan left the room but we were still trying to rest. Felix and Jisung didn't train us this hard and it was concerning. Maybe that's why Chan's group did better than us?

I checked my ranking today, I was in 7th place... I really am nothing compared to these girls, they've done way better. Nina and Yuna were behind me which really made me worried, I didn't want them to fall behind and I feel like its my fault that our performance wasn't the best.

"Alaska?" Change poked his head into the dance room.

"Yes?" I turn around quickly with my bags over my shoulder.

"Could we speak in private? Don't worry you're not in trouble." Chan chuckled.

"Yes." I nodded and followed Change into another room which also happened to be the room he did Chan's room....

Something's up...

"So Felix sent me your lyrics and I actually really loved the way you really defined the emotion and vulnerability in the song." Chan complimented me. "I want to record the song but I also want to credit you, stays have wanted the english version for a long time."

Woah, was he really saying this? Wait, did he actually think your lyrics were good? I'm so shocked at his words, I didn't think they were good enough to even release. Credits... To me?

"I can tell you don't believe this request." Chan laughed at my face.

"Well, I mean I just didn't think that highly of what I wrote— I was expecting some critiques from you." I replied and blinded hysterically.

"Felix was right about you, you resemble me in a way." Chan giggled.

"Why does he keep saying that oh my— Trust me I'm nothing compared to you." I gasped.

"Alaska, you are talented and you could grow these skills even more. That's why I'm asking JYP if I can feature you on this song." Chan smiled brightly and took a seat in his chair.

"What? Wait, you can't be serious I can't even sing." I choked and sat down in the gray chair behind him.

"Remember that it'll be a collab, I can do more of the higher notes and the song isn't about who sings it well. The song has feeling, emotion— and I am sure that you have that inside of you. You wrote the lyrics so well," Chan admired. "So will you collab with me on the english version of I hate to admit?"

"I— Could I?" I looked at Chan with awe.

"Yes, of course!" Chan laughed and high fived me.

"Okay! I won't get my hopes up high because there's still a chance JYP might not say no." I scratched the back of my head with an awkward smile.

"I'm sure he'll approve of it, he can't say no when it comes to me." Chan chuckles. "And also I wanted to lend you my laptop, I know we aren't that close but Felix did tell me you wanted to produce like me and get familiar with the music world. You can start on my laptop."

My eyes widened at his words, HIS LAPTOP? His laptop was so popular especially on twitter! And I could finally get my hands on it?

"Chan, you don't have to do that!" I shook my head. "I'd be grateful just borrowing another laptop, it doesn't have to be yours!"

"Alaska, I care about Felix a lot and I trust his word a lot. He's a bundle of sunshine that I can rely on a lot of the time, and if you're close with him and make me smile then I'd be happy to entrust you with this. You could be like us someday." Chan smiled fondly and closed his laptop, he turned to me with the laptop in his hands. "Take it and experiment."

"Wow, thank you so much." I smile at him and take the laptop. "I won't let you down, I'll try my best to learn how to make music."

"Who knows, maybe someday you'll be as good as me." Chan wiggled his eyebrows.

"Yeah, I'd like to see that." I replied as we both got up.

And with that, we both left the studio and got ourselves ready for the next recording of the survival show.
